Barbara Windsor's 70th birthday is to be celebrated by a BBC show airing later this year.
Barbara At 70 will look back at the life and career of the EastEnders favourite, who plays Peggy Mitchell.
A source told The Sun: "Barbara is undoubtedly one of Britain’s best-loved actresses so we thought it would only be fitting to mark her 70th year."
Windsor turns 70 on August 6.

I have to say I think she looks quite good for someone whos heading towards 70!! Though she has had a bit of work done (bits tucked and lifted).
The prog...I'll only watch it if Im in, it should be quite interesting really....she's worked, over the last 50+ years, with a lot of the good, the bad and ugly of the acting profession!

You get the gobstoppers, I'll get the duct tape and the dwarf sized wheelie bin. :)

I didn't, because I always thought the actress was around the same age as the character, and in 2001, there was a fight between Peggy and Pauline in which Peggy said, "Shut up, I'm not 70!"

Hmm I don't think Barabara Windsor rates alongside the Houses of Parliament, Nelson's Column and the Tower of London somehow. :p
