Monday 15th Jan
Deano is still struggling to come to terms with the whole situation about his Mother. Chelsea apologises for laughing at him after he made a move on her – she didn't realise he felt that way.
Meanwhile, Max and Stacey have a rendezvous in the men's toilet near the tube. Bradley's puzzled when the pair disappear, entering the toilet looking for his father. He's unaware that they're in the cubicle kissing. Max ignores a call from Abi who's waiting outside the playground for him to pick her up.
As Deano's driving down Bridge Street with the stereo on full blast, Chelsea climbs into the car and before she can finish what she's saying, Deano rams the car into gear and races down the street. Chelsea tells Deano that he needs to explain to Kevin why he went to see Shirley. As Deano drives back down Turpin Road, Abi appears in his path. He swerves to avoid her but ends up in a head-on collision with a van.
Elsewhere, Stella attempts to organise a surprise birthday party for Phil, but is shocked when she finds a box on top of his wardrobe containing photos of his ex wives and girlfriends; the police put an warning out to all ports across the country about Sonia; Minty, Garry and Naomi still haven't found another flat; and Dawn threatens Rob and May.
Tuesday 16th January
In the aftermath of the crash, Chelsea's in shock as she looks in horror at a blood-covered Deano clumped against the window of the car. The Square rallies around to ensure everyone is alright. Garry, meanwhile, sits with Abi who's crying with shock. Kevin turns up at the scene and demands to see Deano, unaware how badly hurt he is.
When they reach the hospital, the doctor confirms that Deano has been taken for a CT scan. Chelsea realises that it was Denise who gave Deano his mother's address and just as Kevin finds the piece of paper in his son's belongings, Max bursts through the door blaming Kevin for injuring his daughter. As Kevin, Denise, Chelsea and Carly stand by Deano's bed, Shirley walks in…
Elsewhere, Max attempts to apologise to Tanya for the incident with Abi; Dawn makes an appointment for a termination; and Phil stands Stella up to spend some time with Ben.
Thursday 18th January
Shirley plays her devoted mother card as she sits by Deano's bed, holding his hand. Kevin, Denise, Chelsea and Carly are all relieved when the doctor confirms that Deano has not sustained any long-term damage. Chelsea admits that she called Shirley throwing Keving into a fit of rage. Denise has no option but to admit that it was her that gave Deano his mother's address in the first place.
Meanwhile, back on the Square, Shirley heads to the Arches where Carly blanks her. In the Vic, a drunken Shirley dances her way through the bar toward Max who blanks her. When Pat turns up, Pat warns Shirley to stay away from her family.
Back in the hospital, Deano opens his eyes to Shirley hovering above him and pulls his hand away from hers. Kevin tells Shirley that nobody wants her there. Shirley, however, informs Kevin that he's going to help her get to know the kids or she'll be forced to tell them the truth about their precious father…
Max is wracked with guilt and tries to patch things up with Tanya. In the Vic, however, Bradley tries to comfort his father but is shocked when he answers Max's phone to hear Stacey on the other end…
Elsewhere, the atmosphere is still frosty between Stella and Phil, and Phil does himself no favours when he tells Stella that he knows about the party plans; and Naomi introduces Garry and Minty to Maddy – their mortgage advisor.
Friday 19th January
It's Phil's birthday and he opens his present from Stella – it's a shirt. When he opens the parcel from Ben, he's blown away by his son's effort of buying him a kit car model of the Jag. Stella looks on with jealousy.
Later, Stella heads down to the bar in a classy red number. The regulars look on, gobsmacked. Just as everybody toasts Phil, his car alarm sounds. Phil makes his way out and kills the alarm, only to find a brick-sized hole in the windscreen. He is startled when he sees who appears from the shadows…
Meanwhile, Deano's awake and talks to Carly and Chelsea about Shirley. Carly explains that she's not coming back, while Chelsea is forced to tell him that it was her who called Shirley to the hospital in the first place. Shirley turns up in his room and is taken aback when he tells her to get out. Shirley tells Deano that she didn't want to leave without saying anything. As she heads for the door, Deano asks her to stay with him.
Elsewhere, Stacey provokes Bradley and Lydia in the Vic while Max watches; and Naomi, Garry and Minty put an offer on their flat – and it's accepted.
