I think I might go Cyprus.. Always wanted to go there.. nearly everyone I know have been there and said it's good.. also heard that I might see someone I know out there! :lol:.. I think this might be around Feb. time?
If we don't go Cyprus in Feb. then Dad said he will take us during summer holidays.. (He might just be saying that to shut me up though lmao!!)
But yeah.. a holiday for Feb. is coming up soon I think!!.. x

I've been there Lea, you should really enjoy it! You get to me lots of characters such as Angelina Ballerina, Bob The Builder etc...
I'll probably go to Haven this year or Butlins Minehead again with my family.
I'm going on a cruise around the Greek islands for 1 week in August. I'm flying to Crete, then going to Dubrovnik in Croatia, Corfu, Cephalonia, Katakolon, Athens (Which i'm most looking forward to) and then back to Crete. Its with a company called Ocean Village- i've been around the med with them for the past 2 years, and its great, so this holiday should be good.
Booked it early, and on the net, so got a 40% discount as well- bargain! :rotfl:

We are hoping to go away towards the end of the year, looking at a villa holiday somewhere warm, but not too hot, but haven't arranged anything yet, with work constraints etc....

I havnt got any time for a proper holiday this year, Ive not got a single weekend few with coaching and courses. Im off to brittainy on the 13th of July for a big competion so I guess that will count as a kind of holiday although I wont actulary have any time to myself when im not racing. But its a week off work:)
going to munich at the end of feb/start of march with college on work experience. german isn't my best so that'll be a fun ahem break!
then at easter i'm going to betws-y-coed and abersoch and i'm really ecited because i love the beach and then hopefully hungary in july and then the med in august! and i hope london at some point aswell, me and some mates are planning a weekend at a beach aswell!
Me and my friends are planning a holiday to Magaluf in the summer. As it will be our final holiday before we leave and go to uni.
With the family we are just going somewhere in this country.
And im thinking of a weekend in Dublin for my 18th.
We are now thinking of possibly going away for 2 weeks in the summer, maybe to Turkey

we are going on hols in the summer, not sure where yet but probably going to stay at my mums cousins hotel in bournemouth and then go somewhere else as well. i wanted to go on the netball tour to italy in april but i couldnt afford to go! :(
we are also going to a band competition in June which is in Prestatyn.

Venice for four days in March then Marocco for a week in June, trying to go to Florida for a couple of weeks in Nov, depends if work lets me though!!

We're going to Egypt for a week at the end of May. I'm really excited because the last holiday we went on (over Xmas) wasn't exactly the relaxing type -as anyone who has been Florida will probably know!- and also because one week of it was a cruise - and we were getting up obscenely early almost every day.
And while we were in Belize for the day, we went on a jungle bike trip (my Dad's choice - my flip-flops weren't exactly ideal footwear!) and then we were allowed a bit of time in the reserve place to have a look around and a swim, but by the time we found the pool all we could do was dive in the pool and had to get straight back out! I had to leave even though I knew it would be another five months before I would be able to get in one again! :(
The last relaxing holiday we had was in May, so I have been waiting a year for this, and cannot wait.
We are looking at holidays for October right now, and my Mum has our holidays for the next 5 years, or something, planned, so if we could extend this thread to a few more years, I could be here all day.. :)

Heading back to the USA July 20-30 for my Grandsons 3rd birthday and my HighSChool class reunion,, I get to go allllllll by myself this time,, :cheer: :cheer:
Then Sept6- Oct 6 USA again .. thinking of heading out to Grand Canyon to go on that new walk way ( the Indians are charging 50 dollars per person ) I think that it would be so cool to see what the canyon looks like from 4,000 feet up,, whoo hoo ( obviously this is not good for people who are scared of heights )
Hubby and I never have any set plans when we arrive, we just pick up our rental from Hertz,, drive from Chicago to Wisconsin,,, then stay with my son for 3-4 days then drive down to see my mom and siblings stay a week..... then we just go where the road takes us :D

If i was a great flyer, i would have gone to Australia. Passing your GCSE's are important, but it was like a once in a lifetime opportunity! lol. :) You can always study while your there! Not like anybody would lol.
I just got back from Portugal, went for 2 weeks. Albufeira, only a 2 1/2 hour flight. :) It was good.

Lol I know lilmo but I'm not too keen on spending 2 weeks with my ANNOYING cousins.. I can't bare them and the heat with it lmao! When they came back they said my cousins haven't changed one bit so I'm happy and I did get quite alot of stuff when they came back so I'm happy.. Can't see all the fuss about Aussie.. only half way across the world! Maybe when I'm older I might 'see what I missed out on' and might go there lol. x
Well we are not going Cyprus :( But I think I'm going back to Canada for about 3-4 weeks during the summer holidays!! Should be good! :D

18th August, (Man U v Man C) Two days after resutls, im off to Cork and then up to Mayo in Ireland to see Family and have a holiday.

Oh dear you are going to do that again are you,, my son is now camping with 25 blind kids ages 7-11 ..can u believe they teach those kids survival skills :eek: Will have to ask him about that :cool:
I am going to Abersoch as well for a week, thats only been confirmed, my mum and friends are sailing in the National championships off the coast so we are camping and watching shoud be fun.

In about 2/3 weeks im going to London - not really a propper holiday just staying with my cousin but it does get me away from my room and gives me something to do, my other little cousin will be there aswell (uh oh - us two together could be fun :lol:) and i will probably be helping look after my new little baby cousin George aswell so it should be fun, but dont worry i will come online when i can to chat to people :D

Flying on Saturday morning! Ahh, quite nervous as Dad won't be coming and it's only me mum and my bro going.. My mum is quite forgetful (I think it's actually something quite serious.. stress or something.. no lie..) so I am a bit worried she will forget something.. I will have to step in as the 'Dad' keeping an eye on brother and everything lol.. Hope it all turns out okay as Dad is usually 'the leader' and we just follow LOL!

We are off to Benidorm. Not the best place to go to i know. Wanted to go to Majorca again (it was great there in Alcudia last year) but ended up booking Benidorm instead. Not really bothered. As long as there is a beach, sea and hot sun im not fussed. Just great to get away

Actually, Benidorm has changed a lot, is no longer the "lager lout" holiday place, I have not been myself but know loads of people who have and a lot of them go regularly, although later in the year rather than during the main season. Still good place though by all acounts. I am sure you will like it and being on honeymoon, you probably will not stray too far from the hotel room :o :lol:

Aww thanks :) It really is a great place! Been there about 4-5 times now and have really enjoyed it. Went there last year and they moved house and they live in such a gorgeous place! It's sooo quiet and sunny and ooh it's just brilliant! A bit too humid/hot for my liking sometimes but bearable! Go there if you can! :p
Oh and the shopping may I add is brilliant :p Because of the exchange rate everything is like 'half-price' and stuff there is quite nice too so probably do my sixth form shopping there :p:thumbsup:

I went away for a week last summer and there was 1500 posts when I got back.
Hugh will be in LA so I'm going to fly over there sometime and see him. Shouldn't take too long.

Ive never watched what has happened in soapland in the summer, Im never here
The only things that I really care about missing are House and Home and Away. House season four finishes in the UK the week I go on holiday so I've watched the finale already (twice). I watch H&A online anyway so thats easy to catch up on.

Yeah I don't mind Eastenders or anything else but I hate missing Holby City and Casualty. I hope they manage to get the bbciplayer so you can access it abroad soon. Wouldn't that solve so many problems :p
Quite a quiet summer this year for a change!
Going down to Southampton start of July to move into my new house! Then probably will make a few visits up and down to make the most of my summer rent that i'm having to pay.
Then end of July/start of august got the usual weeks holiday down to Torbay to visit the relatives, hopefully the weather will be better than it was last year!
Then there's talk of the 7 of us from our uni flat this year going camping for a week in either Forest of Dean or Isle Of Wight.
I'm going quite early this summer. I get back early July so I've got about three months off until I go to uni :D
Whereabouts in Southampton you moving to? I used to live there, best place in the world as far as I am concerned :lol:

Camping sounds good! I've never been before I love going caravaning though, there's something strangely good about sleeping in a bed that is about a foot wide and made of wood :rotfl:

Campings great. Only for one night at a time though :p I remember I went camping in Australia and we were woken up by the kookaburras.
Tents are just fun. :p
Are you not worried about creepy-crawlies? Don't like the idea of tents because of them :eek:
Tents are cool, I use to love them in Guide and Brownie camp

Me and my friend tried to camp in my garden once and we got invaded by ants :lol:
Actually I have been camping. I went on a wive's exercise with the army when I was in Germany four years ago.
We had a basher (a piece of canvas stretched between a couple of trees to provide shelter), a ground mat and a sleeping bag. This was in the middle of summer in the sticks with lots of tics and creepy crawlies.
It was quite good actually but I much prefer my own bed.

just by the train station. spent the last year down by the marina and docks in student halls!
i know, isn't it such an amazing city! small but has a lot of shops! everything in walking distance, and lots of lovely parks to hang in! and best thing of all - lots of cool clubs!

yeah, some of the girls haven't been before, so it's going to be a reality shock for them! i've spent half my life camping, love it! but never been with a group of friends other than the scouts before! it's gonna be well fun, like when the Skins gang went camping ha ha

Its just we have used this all year for the 2008 hoildays too :lol:

I was staying with my sister at the time and she was pregnant so I went instead with my other sister.

do you have to pay full rent over the summer then for your uni house? we get to pay half rent if we arent living there

yeah we have to pay full rent, most of my mates are paying half rent in theres, but our house is a lot better than the rest, it's a bit out the way and on one of the wealthy streets, it's probs one of the best the estate agency had to offer, and as a result they're charging full rent, but it's worth it as it's amazing for a student house

if none of us are in the house we get to pay half rent but if one of us wants to stay everyone has to pay full rent. our house is pretty expensive compared to most other houses (apart from the ones right next to uni) but its worth it i think, nicer than other peoples houses i know anyway

Dad booked the tickets today! Leaving on 17th (day after my last exam) and then will be back on the 24th/25th I think.. :D
I can't wait even if it's just over a week! :D Can't wait to see my cousins and go shopping again! And it's just going to be me and my dad :D Woooo! :D

Don't forget your holiday insurance and your European Health Insurance Card if you are off to Europe for your hols. Could save a lot of problems should you be unfortunate to have an accident. :)
