I have a problem with my MP3 player.. it says that it plays both mp3 and wma files.. it will recognise both but only play mp3. Even if I delete the mp3's, it finds the wma but doesn't play them.. Can anyone help?

Are the wma files you're trying to play protected? Maybe your mp3 player needs a firmware upgrade?

I don't think they are write protected cause I was able to copy them in Media player.. They are on the mp3 player, recognised as files (the display changes from MP3 to WMA in the top corner) but they just don't play... it looks like they are running but no sound come out, but if you load an MP3 is plays instantly... It is only brand new player

In that case, if its brand new I would go and return it, or ask for a replacement.
