Have read in NOTW today (and pics) that it is Deano and Chelsea that are involved in the car crash. Deano swerves to miss Abi branning who runs out in front of them and he hits a van.

Chelsea is knocked out but soon comes round, although Deano looks to be in a bad way ....... will he pull through?

THey could be going to get something for the family, they cant avoid each other if they live in the same house.

No Deano wishes he was seeing her but Chelsea can't stand him, thats why people are asking why they would get in a car together.

Where from? They'rd be no need for a car if it was from the minute mart, and I can't see them using one to go to that cost mart place, either.

Chelsea flirted with Deano, but stopped doing it when all that Owen stuff was going on.

Link to article that wa in NOTW today. It doesn't say why they are in the car together, maybe it has something to do with Shirley - Deano has a change of heart and gets Chelsea to go along with him as he wants to keep it a secret from Kevin and Carly?

I don't recognise the car, perhaps Deano "borrows" a car from the car lot? - would be the kind of thing he would do!

maybe he took her to a half price sale for some designer gear ???:rotfl: we all know how Chelsea is with her clothes, and Deano offered to take her to a fancy store on high street ???:lol:

My money is on a rather unrealistic explanation from EastEnders. From the scenes last week and in Dorset, I think Carly is more likely to want to know her Mum than Deano, even though she initially told her to leave them all alone.

They could be in the car for any number of reasons, it sound a good story though. Which ones Abi Branning, is that the young one.

I think Abi is the youngest Branning girl...the one who hangs about with that slightly unhinged child, Ben Mitchell. :)

Oh my bloomin eckers i hope he lives it should be a good storyline and i have seen him act in other programmes before and believe it or not he is a really good actor i just don't think that Eastenders have given him any good if any storylines to shoe his potential until now i also think that Deano may be going to or coming from visiting his mum which he keeps a secret from his dad and carly and i think chelsea goes with him after he tells her about him sneeking off to see his mum should be great though can't wait :)

EastEnders’ Max Branning will see red following the car accident that almost kills his daughter. He squares up to Kevin Wicks after little Abi is injured when Deano Wicks swerves to avoid her as she’s crossing the road.

In saving Abi’s life, poor Deano and passenger Chelsea end up ploughing headlong into a van. But instead of being grateful, Max attacks car lot boss Kev and claims his son Deano was driving one of his dodgy motors. However, viewers soon realise Max is angry because he’s got a guilty conscience. He was supposed to have picked up Abi from school, but instead he was romping with new love Stacey Slater, leaving his daughter to make her own way home.

An EastEnders insider told the Daily Star on Sunday: “Max really has a go at Kevin, saying Deano must have been driving a dodgy car from the lot. Kevin understands Max is upset and tries to reason with him. But there’s no calming Max down and he has to be held back by his wife Tanya.” Soap fans can catch the dramatic episode on 16 January

Yeah Abi ends up with some cuts and a broken arm, nothing too serious, Dean and Chelsea are trapped in the car though.
Tanya won't talk to Max after this happens, but then he works his charm on her and they make up, not long after they make up he ends up being left alone with Stacey yet again.
