Kika Mirylees Has Joined Eastenders

It was announced on GMTV today that former Bad Girls star Kika Mirylees has joined Eastenders. She is playing Garry Hobbs mum and has already started filming. She used to play the tall Julie in Bad Girls. I can't wait until we see her on screen, she is a good actress. I hope she stays in Eastenders for the long term.

hee, you can totally see her playing Gary's mum. great bit of casting! i was wondering the other day why Gary was still in the square and his distinct lack of family ties etc. i must be psychic!

She'd have been great if Kat and Lynne were still in it. It would have been good if Garry started cheating or something, then Kat started a fight or something. Still some avenues to explore with Stacey, and I suppose they needed to do something to avoid booting Garry, and concequently, Minty.
