I got Marley one Scott she loves it. we have been playing sports all day and if I do say so myself. I'm a bit of a hustler at the old bowling and golf. Well worth the money. Did you know you can buy a top up card and download gamecube games for about £3 a go

got the wii for Stephen he was playing boxing and cos the dog couldn't see why he was punching the air,she kept jumping up at him lol, he was getting so annoyed it was well funny. I think the games are well good, and going on the net was quicker then waiting for the computer to start up. As usual the games are exspensive at £39 a go.

I want one but can't get hold of any:( I ordered my son's wii back in september to make sure I got in for xmas, you will find it hard to get one, if you havent put your name on a list, I was number 11 at hmv and got it on the second drop as they only got 10 on the launch day. But got it a week before xmas. My friend went to woolies to order in october and there list was up till the end of march.

when setting up it works all fine but then on the sports games it bowls backwards in bowling and doesnt move on the others and all the shops round where we are arent stocking the controls until after the new year so we cant even get another control and see if we are doing something wrong or whether it is our control

Red Steel is great! The controls take a bit of getting used to but once you've got the knack, it's great!

You guys are so lucky, I really want one, simply because I think it will be a good distraction from studying.

Is there anything you would change about the console?

Rob. I have to agree with you on the name. When I'm in a game shop I keep on saying I want a Wii, which sounds like I need a number one:rotfl:

What would you rate it out of 10?

I think I might have to look on Ebay, the next batch is not out until the end feb/mar.

I get that too! I just call it the "new Nintendo thing"! I'd definitely rate it 10!!

The day I had to go and collect mines there was a staff meeting arranged at work, and I had to attend to take the minutes. I said to my boss I don't won't any waffling as I have to leave to go and pick up a wii. My boss said it's a good job that I know what you are talking about.

I'd love to get one, but not sure i can afford one, now, i've just got my new drum kit, so how much are they? They are £179.00 and I have heard a new colour one is coming out in february and will be £199. Not cheap. But according to my son well worth the money (he would say that as I paid Lol).

I have heard that people have been having a lot of accidents over the Christmas period while playing Wii's.

yh but that could be down to stupidity as we play tennis with 4 players in our front room and no one has ever got whacked by them, and we also do the baseball and no one gets hurt

I know he did it himself, he got very excited and whacked himself in the face. It was quite hilarious.

No one is playing it but me at the mo while I still can - believe me :rotfl:

Apart from that - I get knackered too easily at my age so doubt I'll be doing myself too many injuries - it has been known to be said that I'm quite mature for my age you know :D :p

I do like those kinds of things - we love playing Buzz Jungle Party etc.

My boys have been saving up for one and they just got it. It is brilliant. Mind you have injured my shoulder and I have only played a few games, it is so easy to get carried away. The boys think I'm mad. And yes, I do not allow game consoles in the front room but made an except for this!!

I'm going to get the Harry Potter game and the new Mario game. We love the Wii but the adults are more childish than the kids when it gets played.
