These are great. I'm loving the Zain story line.
There's not enough story lines involving Mickey, there should be more. He's a great actor :)

Totally agree with ya about Mickey, The Zain storyline is ment to come to a close soon isn't it as i'm sure Christina (Kristan) was only contracted up till christmas time.
I don't want the Zain story line to end. It has to be one of the best they have run. I wonder who he will side with. I think it will be Kristen, love always wins out. Do you know if Zain is leaving?

hya
i think TJ is leaving yes im sure i have read that somewhere and if so its around the same time as Christine is leaving so looks like Zain and Kristen could go off into the sunset together lol well that would be good if they did, as i love the storylines
I think I like that ending. Not sure if they will go off into the sunset though - might be prison! Will have to wait and see.
By the way, do we have any spoilers for this week? I can't seem to find them...

From Digital Spy:
Jan 3rd
PCs Roger Valentine and Dan Casper come across Rick Harris who is sleeping at the wheel of his parked car. Roger immediately remembers Rick from the day before as Sun Hill officers found the remains of his son, Steven who died after taking a drugs overdose. The cops notice an empty bottle of whiskey on the back seat of the car and when he awakes and attempts to start the engine, Roger arrests him.
Back at the station, Roger and Dan explain why they have arrested Rick and DI Neil Manson calls Nick’s family liaison officer, Sergeant Doug Wright from Barton Street. Rick is questioned and admits he finished the bottle of whiskey the night before (spilling most of it) and when his breath test shows negative, he is released. Neil calls James Tennant who takes Rick home.
Later, a frantic Carol Mitchell enters the station to report her eleven year old son, Greg missing. He was last seen at St Hugh’s Hospital where he had an appointment to discuss his diabetes – they had an argument and he ran off. The officers are stunned when they watch CCTV footage of Greg getting into Rick’s car outside the hospital entrance. As Greg didn’t need much persuading to get into his car, Neil and Doug visit Carol and show her a photograph of Rick to see if she recognises him. When she doesn’t, a full scale search for Rick and Greg commences. The pressure is on when they find Rick’s abandoned car containing Greg’s insulin kit. Through further investigation, Rick is soon discovered on a boat on the canal and when Neil and the team attempt to persuade him to get off, Rick threateningly holds a knife to his wrist. Greg is nowhere to be seen and as James begs Rick to tell them where Greg is, Dan turns action man - but will he manage to save any lives?
Meanwhile, Sergeant June Ackland and PC Will Fletcher are called out to Rod Jessop’s school after catching tyrant, Kyle Henderson, breaking into the building and carving graffiti on the wall with a knife. Rod tells June and Will that he is at the end of his tether with Kyle and has experienced nothing but trouble with the lottery-winning family. June and Will escort Kyle to the station for questioning and his loud-mouthed mother, Michelle Henderson, sits in on the interview. June tells Michelle that Mr Jessop will drop the charges if she promises to keep an eye on her son in the future.
Later, June is called to the school when Rod’s daughter, Vicky, arrives in tears claiming Kyle threatened her in the street. Vicky also says he also threatened a boy in class with a knife a few weeks ago and after some convincing, she agrees to make a statement against Kyle. As Rod sees June out of the building he asks if she has made her mind up about marrying him yet. However, before she can answer, Kyle turns up at the school to taunt the headmaster again and June takes Kyle back to the station for questioning.
On her way back to the school to let Rod know that the Young Offenders Team will be handling Kyle in the future, June’s life is thrown into turmoil when Rod is dramatically knocked down in a hit and run…
It’s a long day for June, when, after leaving a critical Rod in St Hugh’s, she is called to the Henderson’s house where a fire has broken out and Kyle is taken away in an ambulance.
Jan 4th
In CID, DCI Jack Meadows leads a briefing and tells the team that there has been an arson attack on the house of lottery winning family, The Hendersons’ – the teenage son, Kyle, was inside and lucky to get out alive. Most of the family have been in trouble with the law and have been victimised since they moved in. DS Stuart Turner mentions there may be a connection between Kyle attending Harvey Wallace Comprehensive and Rod Jessop, the head teacher’s hit and run accident. DS Phil Hunter and DC Jo Masters are partnered as are Stuart and DS Sam Nixon who competitively attempt to solve the case.
Phil and Jo ask Kyle’s brother, Jay Henderson and girlfriend, Cheryl Wilks about the fire and Jay shows them one of the recent threatening letters they have received. Later, Sam and Stuart call Cheryl in for an interview after discovering she was seen near the Henderson’s house at the time of the fire. During the interview, the officers discover that she saw Jay’s estranged dad, Tommy, leaving the house on the night of the fire, but she is certain he wouldn’t have started it as Kyle was inside. Later, DI Neil Manson reveals to the team that the arson attack is identical to the recent B&B and foster home fires – same point of origin and white spirit was the accelerant. They realise it’s the third in a series of arson attacks and Jack stresses the importance of finding the Sun Hill arsonist before someone dies.
Meanwhile, in St Hugh’s, Rod lays critically ill in hospital following the hit and run and Sergeant Smithy reluctantly allows Sergeant June Ackland to work on the case. PCs Tony Stamp and Reg Hollis, watch CCTV footage while Leela Kapoor and Dan Casper are sent on foot patrol in the hope of spotting the vehicle involved in the incident. Reg and Tony show June and Smithy a CCTV photograph of a gang of kids checking out parked cars near the school and suspicions are raised when June recognises Kyle who was recently arrested for carrying a knife and breaking into Rod’s school. Smithy heads off to see Kyle who is in St Hugh’s after suffering smoke inhalation just as June receives news that Rod is awake. A delighted June visits Rod who tells her that he didn’t see the driver, but they definitely intended to hit him.
Kyle feigns shock when he cottons on that Smithy’s trying to link him to the hit and run and claims he went to see his mate, Grant Carlton. Tony and Reg question Grant who maintains that he and Kyle played computer games at his house. June is sympathetic towards Kyle; he found it hard to fit in at school, which has made him a troublemaker, but she doesn’t believe he was driving the car even though her colleagues are convinced he did. Kyle is horrified to learn that fingerprints have been found on the bonnet of the car and the culprit will be charged with attempted murder…
Also, after applying for the DI position, Sam is thrilled when Jack informs of her successful interview; she is the new DI and will start her new role in a month or so. And June is overwhelmed when she visits Rod in hospital and accepts his earlier marriage proposal.
Cheers.
Yeah, Sam is the new DI. That should be good to see how her relationship with Phil develops. But where is Mickey? We hardly see him.
Thank god June is leaving in April, she annoys me.

i no i cant wait for June to leave but its a shame Mark is coming back for Trudies last ep, and i think sam wil make a great DI
I can't remember who Mark was. Was he Gabriel who turned out to be somebody else? Something to do with June's son I know that bit.
I can't remember who Mark was. Was he Gabriel who turned out to be somebody else? Something to do with June's son I know that bit.Mark Wingett played the part of Jum Carver. June Ackland was briefly married to him
i no i cant wait for June to leave but its a shame Mark is coming back for Trudies last ep, and i think sam wil make a great DII shall be sorry to see June leave. She is one of the originals and over the years she has proved to be a great actress. Her character was ruined somewhat when Marquess was in charge and she became involved in the idiotic Gabriel Jent storyline. Sam Nixon will be a rubbish DI. She has no respect for authority and she is a self promoting gloryhunter. In reality she would never be promoted because of her unprofessional attitude.
Ah righty I understand now.
Alan, can I ask if you have any involment with the police? You always seem to be in the know when it comes to things like promotion. (Off topic, I know but I'm just curious.)

think sam will make a great DI. she will finally get to boss that awful stuart around and he'll have to do as she says if he wants to keep his job at sun hill :rotfl: i really cannot wait!
i think i will be quite upset to see june leave. i think she is one of the few left who was already in the show when i started watching itm along with tony and reg and . . . i think that's it, i can;t think of any more at the moment! she's had some good storylines over the years, but maybe it is time for her to go
June is the only chacter left from the pilot Woodentops.
Not seen Reg for a while, he's rather under used.
lol alan you always disagree, and i think she will make a god one as she is a strong minded personShe is not a GOD. Her character is totally unbelievable. If she was a real police officer in the real world she would have been dismissed long ago or transferred to some out of thne way office job
