Would I crash and burn quickly if I said I didn't want Leona to be number one, but I don't want Take That to be either??

 Ermmm ok - TAKE THAT FOR NO 1 :D :D

But whoever is number one, please, I don't want it to be Leona.

I'm certainly not buying it. Do we mean Take That - Patience for xmas number 1? Must try and talk my friend out of buying it.....

Noooo anything but the X Factor people and Cliff Richard. But in Sir Cliffs defence (and I'm not a fan believe me) at least his singles are proper Xmassy ones, not like some of the trash that hits the charts these days

Please I hope Leona isnt number one!

Take that would be great for xmas number one :cheer: but i also agree that cliff should be as his songs are xmassy! It should be a really good xmas song at number one!

Leona will be the number 1. The X factor winner (whichever one it was going to be) had already sold a million before the winner had been announced. So I'd say its a dead cert she's going to be number 1.
Why can't we have a propper christmassy number 1 this year? Nobody does christmassy songs anymore :(

It is really not looking good. I went in HMV today and they had Leona's single on the counter! Though I am pleased to announce that my Mum got the Take That single.

I hope they don't cost that much then, as you have to pay £1.99 in the shops, usually. Leona's is £3.99 in the shops, so that could help.

Last week the 21-year-old stormed the charts, taking the Christmas top spot with debut track A Moment Like This.

Revived boy band Take That's Patience remains at number two, while Beautiful World continues to top the album chart.

Oasis and Snow Patrol, whose Eyes Open is now in its 35th week in the chart, completed the top three albums.

TOP 5 SINGLES
