im in full agreement, anyone but leona for christmas number one! where have all the proper christmassy songs gone these days? its just going to be boring x factor songs at christmas number one every year.

Leona will be the number 1. The X factor winner (whichever one it was going to be) had already sold a million before the winner had been announced. So I'd say its a dead cert she's going to be number 1.
Why can't we have a propper christmassy number 1 this year? Nobody does christmassy songs anymore :(

Looks as though the sales are reflecting that Leona will be number one.
It is really not looking good. I went in HMV today and they had Leona's single on the counter! Though I am pleased to announce that my Mum got the Take That single.

I hope they don't cost that much then, as you have to pay £1.99 in the shops, usually. Leona's is £3.99 in the shops, so that could help.

X Factor winner Leona Lewis is entering 2007 at the top of the singles chart, after maintaining her hold on the number one slot for a second week.
Last week the 21-year-old stormed the charts, taking the Christmas top spot with debut track A Moment Like This.
Revived boy band Take That's Patience remains at number two, while Beautiful World continues to top the album chart.
Oasis and Snow Patrol, whose Eyes Open is now in its 35th week in the chart, completed the top three albums.
