I love disney films. Personally, I prefer the older ones like Snow White (I've got dwarfs above my bed, love them), Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
I can't decide what my fave is, they're all so great. I can watch them over and over again :):):)
I don't like the new movies, they just don't compare.

I think what the disney movies gives is magic.. it is the timeless and people of all ages watch them and love them....

One of my fav songs is from Dumbo where his mother rock him through the bars (word giving to me by Jodi.. thanks huns)

baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine
Little one when you play
Don't you mind what you say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
If they knew sweet little you
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for
The right to hold you
From your head to your toes
Your not much, goodnessknows
but your precious to me
cute as can be
baby of mine
cry cry cry

:(:( makes me cry even now just reading them

i absolutely love disney films, every generation can watch them and they are always brilliant films with great soundtracks too. my favourite one has got to be beauty and the beast. i have seen the play twice at the theatre too.

Just found this topic, i dont mind Disney films but tend not to watch the old cartoony ones because some of them are really sad, like Lion King i think it is really sad when Mufasa dies, and then Bambi aswell

To me they are timeless and never loose their appeal. I can remember going to the cinema to see Snow White, The Arisocats and the Jungle book just to name a few. Now Marley has a wide collection of films many were I bought before she was born. Bless her when she was 3 she used to love watching the Lion King but allways left the room when it came to the part were mustafa dies.

I've never seen Lion King.
My absolute favourite is Snow White. All those little men make me smile, especially Dopey. Then Snow White gets kissed by the prince and they get married with the dwarfs around them then they all live happily ever after. If only life was like that... lol

My sister taped over part of Bambi so I've never seen all of it and I can't understand why people cry when she dies. The only bit that I remember is where Bambi is jumping around in the forrest with the bunny rabbits and birds.

Me and my friend were literally talking about this the other day!

I love Disney films, always have done, always will do. They are timeless, they appeal to all ages and generations, and even though they were made however long ago they will still be watching and enjoyed in years to come. They are magic and will live on forever :)
