Hey guys.. Got a problem and wonder if you all could help :)
My mate's got a Sony laptop and it's always freezing (stopping lol not cold :p).. When she's on MSN she gets signed out like every 30 secs - 1 min! Does anyone know what the problem is and how to stop it?
Shall edit with more information.. x Thanks x
Try an anti virus/spyware programme and see if anything comes up.
Is it only on msn that it is happening?
I know for weeks now I have loads f problems with msn freezing up, logging me out after a few seconds
i know others have as well
I've had loads of problems with MSN lately on my laptop, with it signing me in and out on different occasions, sometimes without me realising it.
Is it a laptop problem as opposed to being something else - spyware/virus scans might help though for sure.

She just told me her internet is also quite slow and freezes up.. Her laptop get's really hot really easily.. she has to put this massive fan to stop it from heating up too much or then it's more of a pain :rotfl: Lately it dosen't connect to the internet quite as easily too.
It's quite a good laptop though.. Her connection speed is also quite high.

Her msn? Okay thank-you :D x Will let you know with the result after she does it lol x
MSN has been having problems for Weeks.. Myself and Debs have been complaining about it.. I couldn't get into MSN for 2 days and when I finally got it, it kicked me out again so it not your friends laptop, it is actually MSN
That doesn't explain the fan thing though, and especially in the winter. Mine was doing that in the summer, we don't have a fan down here so I just had to go offline after about 5 minutes. I left it for about a month lol! I'd get her to ring up the manufacturers or something, there might be something wrong with the fan.
