Elsewhere, Ben is busy going through his Christmas presents from Stella – a large box of practical jokes. Minty emerges from his front door in a Santa suit, followed by a tentative Garry in an elf outfit. Garry, however, isn't amused when he discovers that Phil got him to dress up as a wind-up.
When Peggy later tells Ian to leave The Vic, Martin asks her to call a truce for Christmas.

Ben, meanwhile, is very unhappy when Stella begins to move her belongings into The Vic. She asks Phil if they are moving too fast, but he doesn't think so. Stella tries to make an extra special effort with Ben.
