Clare (Gemma Bissix) and Tom (Ellis Hollins) prepare for Max\'s (Matt Littler) homecoming. Clare\'s decision to take control of Max\'s medication could lead to fatal repercussions. Jake (Kevin Sacre) is uneasy as he faces yet another court appearance. Frankie (Helen Pearson) reminds Jake the victim of Becca\'s (Ali Bastian) saga is her baby; but is it his? A sympathetic Tony (Nick Pickard) listens as Jake confides his heartache at not knowing who the father is. Big Brother is watching and there\'s no escape for Zoe (Zoë Lister). Will\'s (Oliver Farnworth) inside knowledge quickly get his feet under the table and Zoe is clueless as to why they\'re so well matched. Kris (Gerard McCarthy) is using the gift of the gab to blag his way to radio stardom and celebrates as the bright lights of broadcasting beckon.

Becca (Ali Bastian) is stunned when Jake (Kevin Sacre) confesses he\'s a witness for the prosecution. Kris (Gerard McCarthy) drowns his sorrows as his radio debut goes pear shaped. Max\'s (Matt Littler) irritation grows as his slow recovery takes its toll. Clare (Gemma Bissix) is wary, worried a visit from the nurse will interfere with her plans, and panic sets in as the nurse investigates Max\'s medication. Sarah (Loui Batley) is puzzled by Amy\'s (Ashley Slanina-Davies) bad mood. A concerned Michaela (Hollie-Jay Bowes) encourages Amy to seek help but gives up after an immature response.

Ashamed of his drug exploits, Max (Matt Littler) feels guilty for changing Clare\'s (Gemma Bissix) life so drastically. He tells her their relationship is over. Sasha (Nathalie Emmanuel) is concerned by Justin\'s (Chris Fountain) reaction when he finds out Becca\'s (Ali Bastian) court date. Turning to weed to escape reality, Justin pushes Sasha to join him. Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) is astonished by Michaela\'s (Hollie-Jay Bowes) blatant taunting of her condition. Jessica (Jennifer Biddall) is a girl on a mission as the university announce new security procedures. Defending the students\' right to privacy she decides to make an intellectual statement.

Clare (Gemma Bissix) is enjoying Max\'s (Matt Littler) pain so much she\'s adding to his discomfort. OB (Darren Jeffries) causes bother when he quizzes Clare about Max\'s recovery and upsets her. Max is confused as his bedroom fills with well-wishers, but it\'s all part of Clare\'s devious plan as Max struggles to keep it together. Will (Oliver Farnworth) is distraught as his voyeuristic habits means he misinterprets Kris (Gerard McCarthy) and Zoe\'s (Zoë Lister) nudity. Josh (Sonny Flood) is pleased as he and Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) get closer, but is the feeling mutual? And Rhys (Andrew Moss) is unimpressed when he and Gilly (Anthony Quinlan) are hoodwinked into selling Christmas trees.

Zoe (Zoë Lister) spills the beans on last night\'s act of vandalism and the boys return home with a new plan... and costumes. It\'s celebrations all round as Kris (Gerard McCarthy) begins his broadcasting career and the flatmates celebrate the success of their CCTV campaign. Zoe is smitten as she realises her and Will (Oliver Farnworth) are on the same page, but how did he really know what she was thinking? Michaela (Hollie-Jay Bowes) insists Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) must face up to her responsibilities. Gilly (Anthony Quinlan) is put out when his human rights are infringed at work. Rhys\' (Andrew Moss) mystery lady is keen on her toy-boy but is unimpressed by her introduction to Gilly. Clare (Gemma Bissix) can\'t keep it together and bursts into tears over a split coffee in Il Gnosh but OB (Darren Jeffries) is unconvinced by her performance.

Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) lands her a PA at a nightclub, but she gets more than she bargained for when a fan reveals her true identity. University life is taking its toll on Zoe (Zoë Lister) and she contemplates her options. Will (Oliver Farnworth) doesn\'t want to lose her so he convinces her to give Zak (Kent Riley) a second chance. And Clare\'s (Gemma Bissix) abrupt behaviour with Tom (Ellis Hollins) raises a few eyebrows.

Suzanne (Suzanne Hall) does her best to prevent a riot as the year\'s most popular toy attracts a crowd outside Drive \'N\' Buy. Dominic (John Pickard) goes to extreme lengths to get Tom\'s (Ellis Hollins) Christmas present. Calvin (Ricky Whittle) and Sasha (Nathalie Emmanuel) skirt around the issue of her dope smoking. Justin\'s (Chris Fountain) life\'s not worth living when Sonny (Devon Anderson) realises why Sasha has gone to such lengths to cover for him. A shaken Steph (Carley Stenson) decides to put on a brave face but her glamorous night out spells disaster, as the shine of stardom begins to fade. And Nancy (Jessica Fox) decides Justin needs a taste of his own medicine.

Craig (Guy Burnet) and Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) debate what\'s best for Steph (Carley Stenson). She comes to a decision, but has she made the right choice? And Sonny could be the answer to Dominic\'s (John Pickard) quest for Tom\'s (Ellis Hollins) present but Tina (Leah Hackett) puts her foot down on any dodgy dealings.
