I was thinking that, its about time they got an award.

I still see no point in these awards as EE has the most fanbase so is bound to win. Dr Who did well again.

Who ever voted for Nikki from Big Brother should be committed to an asylum. God helps us when she makes her speech, hopefully itv will edit that bit out.

What I don't understand is that if she was the most popular contender...why didn't she win?? Surely if she was, then she should have won hands down, but she was evicted, voted back in because of her "relationship" with Pete and then came what was it 5th?! I find that very strange. Get your video recorders/PVR's out everyone who wants to watch it and fast forward through her bits!! I for one, won't be watching...

Well I don't care what these awards say. Hollyoaks is the true winner in my eyes. :cool: I actually had a feeling Emmerdale might just do it this year, oh well.

Eastenders best soap? Give me a break!

On the plus side, Doctor Who and David Tennant really did deserve to win- especially David Tennant. Just look at the clips and you could see that. It was a toss up between Billie Piper and Ursula Holden-Gill for the best actress, but naturally, i'm pleased Billie won in the end :D

I pleased that Billie and David one- they truly deserved it in my eyes. I'm disappointed about Eastenders getting best soap. They didn't deserve, the storylines this year have been rubbish, I wanted Emmerdale to win.

Highlight was Top gear winning and David Tennent getting Best Actor, it was also very moving when Terri Urwin presented the Special recognition award
