Coffee Makers

Thinking of treating myself to one of those new coffee makers, had my mind settled on the Tassimo one but now Nescafe have brought one out, so not sure. Has anybody experience of either of these and if so how they rate them, thanks

My Sister-in-Law has one of the Tassimo ones but doesn't rate it hugely. She said the coffee isn't strong enough for her or something.

I have a normal coffee filter machine, which i love as I can adjust the strength of the coffee to my own or anyone elses taste. And have large pot keeping warm for a couple of hours, or just make enough for one mug. Plus its cheaper, which is always a bonus in my book lol

Thanks for that - to be realistic I suppose, the coffee for these machines is quite pricy, so I may not use it that often, it may gather dust like the smoothie maker.

Yeah, it is quite expensive, whereas a normal filter machine and filter coffee is cheaper and you can still make lattes, cappucinos etc and more to your own taste too.
