X FACTOR chiefs are planning a sensational twist to Saturday’s show — and could axe TWO acts.

Judge Simon Cowell yesterday revealed there will be a “shock twist” — and TV Biz has learned it will be one of four scenarios.

The first would see two hopefuls dumped at the end of the show, instead of the usual one.

Plan B allows an already ditched act to return. It could be rejects 4Sure or The Unconventionals, or even someone axed in the boot camp rounds.

Producers are also weighing up a third option — letting guest judge, crooner Tony Bennett, 80, decide who goes. Alternatively, the last ten acts would be completely at the mercy of the public vote. An insider said: “They have no idea what is going to happen.

“But that’s the point — we don't want anyone getting too comfortable.

“We want to give viewers some extra excitement.”

Saturday's X Factor is a big band-themed show, in Bennett’s honour.

A double eviction could spell trouble for Dionne Mitchell and The MacDonald Brothers, who are bookies’ favourites for the boot. Long-haired rocker Ben Mills is still favourite to win this year's competition.

I can.. he is by far the best there.. Eton Road would be my second favourite. they haven't been together long and I wonder if we need another boy band out there that will fade in a few years. Ben has something extra about him that sets him apart from all the others

yeah I agree at first I thought all Ben could do was shout but his performance of Maggie May was the best of the series so far from anyone. And Eton Road are fantastic too.

If there is a double eviction I hope its Ashley and the McDonald Brothers- mind how funny would it be if they got to the final 4 could you imagine Simon's face.

Bryan you are so cruel :lol: but your right Louis has no chance in winning this year but I would like to see Eton Road in the final. I think sharon will win with Ben. I don't like any the singers in Simon's group, if there is a double eviction this saturday then I hope Ashley is one of them to be booted out.

I'm either hoping it's a double eviction in which we can finally get rid of The McDonald Brothers and Kerry or a returning act in which 4Sure or The Brothers can return. The latter would probably make me happier but if either of those happened I'd be over the moon.

they have to keep comeing up with different ideas as otherwise its gets a bit samey. I think they shuldnt go too outragous though.

I know what you mean.. Double eviction sounds good and hopefully there will be other shocks like what they do on Cirque de Celebrite.. get the person with the most votes to decide who stays...

Whats the point in bringing someone back from boot camp? They obviously weren't good enough to reach the final in the first place.
Its a while since we had a decent boyband so maybe Eton Road could win although I'd much rather Ben won.

Did you see Shakey Sean perform on Sharon's show a few weeks ago? He actually got through a whole song without crying or shaking. It would be fun to see him back though. He is rather sweet.
I wonder if they might do a combo of the ideas like get rid of one act but bring back somebody from boot camp or one of the groups that have been voted off. :hmm:
If one of the groups do come back it has to be For Sure.
Personally, I'd like to see Leona, Ashley or Kerry to go tomorrow. Ashley's hair has more personality than he does.

Ben's good but pretty cheesey. I could listen to my Michael Bolton CD and pretend it was him. Makes me wonder if he's doing the whole "stars in your eyes" thing or if he does have an identity of his own too !

He was also really good when he performed in Manchester, hes become a star in his own right up her, with all th newspaper coverage and things. In my opinion he was much better then that Ashley that got put through. If they opted for bringing someone back it should definalty be him.

The way Simon Cowell is behaviour over Ashley you would think he was Gay ! I can't understand why he still thinks he is so good, he was arrogant and vile last night and the fact that the little smart :moonie: think he is still great makes me sick ! Simon Cowell I have respected you since the year dot, but your continuing support of Ashley is a joke !

Kerry & Dione sould have stayed another week at least, Nikkita I think was awful, least Kerry sang in tune the whole way through unlike Ashley.

Looks have absolutely nothing to do with singing competition if that was the case we would have lost some great artists like Micheal Jackson, Rod Steward, White stipes, Oasis . Ben has a great voice, it is different and week after week he is delivering great vocal performances

I wasn't saying looks DO have anything to do with it..
I just meant that he is not a very good singer, so if it was someone else (like Shayne Ward last year - OK, he was a pretty good singer, but not as good as some of the others, and a lot of people were thinking he only won 'cause of his looks) I'd assume that the reason they liked him so much was 'cause of his looks, but it can't be that as he isn't very good looking.

Ben has a cute face :wub: I reckon he's good looking definately. Not as much as Ashley and Simon, but he really is. And has such a powerful voice. If I'm honest, he's the person I'm more likely to buy a CD of. As I'm into his kind of voice more.. I guess everyones differnt :p
