Howdy guys, I was wondering whether anyone had any ideas as to what I could take for fatigue.
Ive been feeling totally cream crackered of the last 3 or 4 days - to the point where Im really having difficulty dragging myself out of bed. I just want to sleep all the time. Thankfully Im off work this week.
My muscles all ache, and I feel generally rather run down  (definitely running on empty at the mo). Does anyone know/recommend something I could take to help me feel a little more perky???
Any advice gratefully received :)

funny enough I have been going through the same thing and the only thing I can recommend is a hot bath, read before bed to shutdown your mind. Also keep active, doing nothing during the day makes you more tired
i heard someting about reading before bed as well, Keep active during half term, walking or something even if its just to go to the shop.
Your so lucky, think of me when your lying in bed and poor old me is still at college for another week.
Have you tried google for some more advice.

I havent been able to sleep properly for days. I'm shattered so I go to my bed but as soon as my head hits the pillow I'm wide awake again and I can still be awake at 3 am and I have to be up at 7 am for work.
Blooming heck - there must be an epidemic! My hubby can't sleep at all - stressed I think, and he is wandering about during the night - which wakes me up.
I had coffee with a friend this morning and she says she is the same.
All the same, fatigue and aching muscles sounds like it could be more than just plain tiredness. You could have a bug.
Try to eat sensibly, take vitamin C with zinc to boost your immune system, and drink loads of water. It is also sensible to keep off coffee and alcohol for a bit. If the aching persists and you get a temperature then I would take an over the counter pain killer like paracetamol.
A few years ago I ended up with chronic fatigue syndrome and was ill for months, take care of yourself.
Drink lots of water and when you wake up a mini work out.
I'd go see your GP and ask for a blood test. They might shed some light on why you're tired.

Yup, I'd recommend the same. Diabetes and iron deficiencies are a common factor in what you describe

You could be anemic, do you eat plenty of meat and veg? Iron tablets could be a way to go.
Do you urinate more frequently? Sorry for such a personal question.
Do you takes vitamins?
Are you under any stress?

I dont really eat much red meat because I dont like beef, lamb or pork. I'd say I definitely wouldnt be in that Gillian 'you are what you eat' woman's good books pertaining to my current diet!
Infact, I'd have to confess my diet at present isnt what you called balanced! I tend to eat out, or rely on ready meals. Though I have been trying to fit in eating lots of fresh fruit this week, and have been to Holland and Barrett for some vitimin pills recently. But the more knackered I have felt, the more inclined I am to have a ready meal, rather than cook some proper food. I know this is a habit I need to break!
To the other questions, I'd say I have found myself visiting the ol' loo alot more, and yes I am feeling rather stressed from the combination of a few things, including getting a new boss at work.

I would defo suggest going to see your doc's, and getting blood and urine tests, to rule out anything serious.
