Hi,
I was thinking about creating a topic and see if you would like to learn a little Icelandic tounge, since I'm from Iceland and I live there I can teach you a few words and sentence, I speak Icelandic but I have to write english here for you to understand me. :) (http://1pantspee.blogspot.com)
I'm just gonna' check how many want to learn and I'll teach you something, you can also come with words from english or sentence and I can translate them to Icelandic and teach you ;)
Now who wants to learn a new language? ;)

welcome to the boards! ive been to iceland and know some of the lingo, enough to get by, and like any langauge, if you learn it you have to learn the insults, of which I learnt! :rotfl:

Ooh, I wanna learn some of the icelandic lingo. Don't suppose you have any common phrases?

I have to admit I didn't realise there was such a language though..

I would like to learn icelandic but I'm not sure if I would be able to pronouce the words properly but welcome to the boards.

ooooooo this sounds interesting but can i ask how it would work as if you type it we wouldnt know how to say it, if that makes any sense?

You could type in how you pronounce the word too in english.
