I don't normally watch Holby City cos i'm not much of a fan of hospital shows but that guy who played Elliot was on GMTV this morning and they showed a clip from tonight's show which looked quite good so I decided to tune in and I thought it was great. :) I didn't know anything about the characters cos I never watch it but I still found it quite sad. Brilliantly acted too, especially by that Elliot guy. Great episode.

Fantastic acting and a great storyline! It had me in tears at the end, it was so sad:(

I Liked it right before the end credits when Elliot told Connie that she should not drink the whiskey in her condition, and about the whole life and death thing. I wonder when she has the baby she will name it after a certain lady...:hmm:

If I know it was going to be so sad, I would have bought shares in Kleenex. Such a good episode and the best acting ever !!

Go Go Connie !! (Would love to see her in Eastenders)

Hmmmmmmmm then we have to have a love intrest for our Connie LOL
I like the "new" Connie shes "softer" and not so selfish,, what she did the last two episodes was totally UNSELFISH and KIND the old Connie would have not given a damn !!!!

It would have taken so much guts to have helped a friend like that, I really am not sure that I could have done. But ring Elliott just should that Connie has a heart and what a lovely big one it is, a little soft in places.

Totally random, but I watched Four Weds the other night and she was in it when Hugh Grant was talking about that Veronica and all his other ex girlfriends !

Scotland had it aired tonight as there is football on tomorrow and i was crying my eyes out i sympathise with elliot as my grandad had mnd but he died when i was a few months old and i miss him so much. Anyway all Three cted brilliant including connie i wouldn't/never of imagined her in tears but she was. Elliot was so sweet i think and Gina was amazing and the actors/actresses should be giving some sort of recognition as they were brilliant.:cheer: :crying:

The stuff with Elliot/Connie/Elliot's wife (forgot her name) was brilliantly acted, so sad but really really good, way better than anything Eastenders is producing right now

thanks!!! pretty random, but unique i think! lol

anywayz, i doubt they will get anything for the episode, as the soaps like eastenders and coronation street and emmerdale seem to win most things. drama's such as holby city and the bill hardly ever seem to win anything. it's such a shame!

I eventually got round to watching Holby. Words cannot describe how absolutely brilliant it was. It was so emotional and well acted. Totally believable, so much so that Im quite surprised bearing in mind the subject matter it was shown pre-watershed. Full marks to all involved. Im looking forward to seeing the fallout tonight

Congratulations Holby for dealing with a sensitive and topical matter in a totally unsensationalist way.
