I dont know what the point of him is really, unless he is going to become a regular, wasn't there something about him and Ian's Daughter Lucy and his unhealthy interest?

Yeah there was a while ago, but I haven't heard anything for ages.

He's going out with Dawn, but we haven't seen him since the whole incident with Ian.

thats what my sis said as well! i think theres definitely something more to do with his marriage/separation as he doesnt want to talk about it

Maybe he and his wife are not divorced or seperated, maybe she is in a mental institute,,or she is locked up in the attic or in the basement of their fancy house LOL
