Psycho Steph Stokes will finally get her comeuppance this autumn when she faces trial for her brother's murder.
The crazy cockney might've got away with pushing old ‘pal' Shelly Williams off a ferry and drugging her dependant dad up to the eyeballs - not to mention all the lying, plotting and scheming - but the law finally catches up with her.
Emmerdale's resident madwoman and her murdering medic husband Dr Adam Forsythe killed her abusive brother after he unearthed the truth about Adam's dodgy past!
The brunette battleaxe was released on bail but later this year she'll be brought to justice for Terence's gruesome death.
And according to Emmerdale producer Kathleen Beedles, we're in for a dramatic time…
“The trail will be the high point of our autumn,” Kathleen tells InsideSoap.
“Lorraine Chase, who plays Steph, has made her such a great character, but we always knew there would come a time when she'd have to pay for what she's done.”
Could this mean Adam will be returning to the Dales? Let's hope so!
