Who here has a dog that doesn't bother with toys?? We have a little lhasa apso and we've tried to train him for years to run and fetch the ball (or a stick) when we take him for walks on the field but he never seems interested? It's the same with toys and stuff in the house, he just never bothers with them even when you try and play with him. :searchme: He's very boring lol. :) Who else has a pet like this?

p.s. - mods feel free to move this if it's in the wrong place.

Yeah, I use to have (she's gone to doggy heaven now! lol) the laziest dog.

You would throw a ball or stick for her fetch and she would just stand there looking at you as if you were mental for throwing it and then just walked off!We found only bribery in the form of dodgy chocolate drops worked, and even then only for a short while!!!

On walks she seemed to have a low boredom threshold too! Preferring rides in the car (the faster the better) so she could stick her head out the window.

My friends dog has a rather big addiction to playing fetch.. in the house.. whenever ou're just sitting there, he'll come up to with his ball or teddy and wait for you to throw it, if you don't he barks, which gets very annoying, cos it's so annoying, but sweet :p bless him.

Mine wasn't really interested in playing untill he was 3, and now he wants yu to play with him 24/7. He's 7 now, and he's still not calmed down. So be thankfull that your dog is quieter, because the opposite isn't much fun either!

I didn't know what they looked like till I googled them :D  But they are so cute looking!

Hubby won't let me have a dog though, which is a shame as I was always brought up with them, albeit slighter bigger than those.

Not one of those, no. I've got a Black Labrador, which is normally a really playfull type. But as i said, he didn't start getting really active untill he was 3, and now theres no stopping him

That type of dog is adorable though!! Mind you, i think all dogs are cute, really!!!

I have two chocolate labs and when they were younger we did get them toys and they loved them but as they got older we havent bothered, plus they have never learnt to fetch.

aww, a really cute dog and i hate all animals.

My uncle has the laziest dog that he paid a fortune for. 500 euro for a working sheepdog, but and he wont even move no matter what you do, toys, balls anything to top it all of it walks with a limp now as he ran it over with his tracter (the same way his previous dog died) and when the vet came he showed him the wrong leg so his good back leg got strapped up and the bad one didnt.

It certainly did not live up to the advert a playful hard working dog.
