I have the Sanyo HDD player, its about the same size as an Ipod but has six GB and only cast £99 which was about how much i could afford and was much cheaper than an IPod or others out at the time. I wouldnt know what to do without it.

Is it any good? £99 is good for a 6GB player i cant even find a 4GB for that

If i were you, i'd buy myself an iPod. I thought the same as you- that they aren't worth the money, but they serious are when you get them, and start loading them up. iTunes is a bit... problematic at times, but its great, when you get passed the inital teething problems. They dont cost too much, compared to Creative Zen's either.

I bought a nano a few weeks ago. it cost £99 for 1GB it holds 240 songs. I don't buy the tunes from itunes I just download them from other music sites and transfer them into my ipod.

I have an I-pod Video 30, i've got over 30 movies on it, over 250 pictures and well over 3000 songs, and it's not even half full yet. I love it and wouldn't go any where without it now, me my mobile and my i-pod, it's a bit like a marriage! lol

If you get an ipod, i wouldn't advise the nano, save up more and get a video one.!

I looked on that Kelkoo thing, and on E-bay they had them for about 100, well baring in mind it doesn't go up.. so you could posibly look there, if you trust it. But It is very expensive, I definately wouldn't spend 200 on it like one site suggested.

I wouldn't get an I Pod video if I were you, Nano batteries seem to last significantly longer.
