I don't think he'll succeed. I reckon he'll be one of those recurring characters, like Trevor or the Terminator! lol.

totaly agree with all of you maybe owen should be given a mini bus then they could get rid of all the above and i'm sure we could suggest a few more names so he has no empty seats, keith miller springs to mind .

I cant understand EE writers, they had a perfectly good asian family, but never gave them decent storylines, so axed then in a most bizzare way, but they keep introducing new characters so bland they make watching paint dry exciting - what is wrong with them. Do they not understand that Indian/Pakistani etc.. families make up a huge part of the East End of London, or have they never visited the place. EE is so far away from reality its untrue.

Yeah I have to agree with you there, EE is predominately white, which is unrealistic considering the huge variety of ethnic groups living in andaround London.

Most of the storylines they had for them went out the window though because of the work permit fiasco with "Dan" (can't remember his actual name - sorry). They instead had to re-write the scripts so they had the ridiculous kidney storyline, instead of the original plot.
Not since Sanjeev and Gita have they had a great Asian family (tries to think back to remember if I've missed any other good ones since then).
I think they should hire a 53 seater coach and put all of the useless ones on there!

Lol, I agree with you there! We should have a thread, the 53 seater bus from the East End to Manchester (as that's where they normally go) who would you put on it and why? :rotfl:

I read this in the Sun, sounds brilliant! Should make some great drama, can't wait for it to be shown! I hope Owen isn't leaving though, he's a good character and there are lots more things for him to do. I hope he doesn't succeed in killing himself.
