Thought I'd start us off. :)
These are a couple of bits I got from DS, I think they may have come from Tina Baker. Not sure though.
Pauline Fowler is dying sometime over xmas (most of us knew that)
Jean Slater is coming back for Christmas (quite excited about that). Not sure if she's back in Autumn, and then again at xmas. Or whether she's in it permanently. Anyone know?!
And the 'bad girl', Carly and Deano's mum is making her first appearance at Xmas.
It's getting exciting!
Oh and it was confirmed on This Morning that in the next few weeks/months, SJ robs Minty of all his money, apparently by brainwashing. Similiar to that of Charlie in Corrie (but doubt it will be half as good as that).

Another Christmas needing a box of tissues. Although, I very doubt I will be upset over Pauline dying.

Kat and Alfie got married on Xmas day, that was happy.
I think it's good to have a bit of both. Dramatic stuff, and fun stuff too.
But actually I do prefer the drama.

you've gotta have some doom and gloom in eastenders on christmas day, it makes your own family seem quite normal by comparison!

I reckon the Slater stuff is going to be brilliant! I reckon things will come out about Jean and Sean. Most likely something happened there, which made him leave. Possibly to do with Sean's dad's death.
Poor minty, i hope eventually sees what Sj is actually like.
It sounds like a bit of a boring christmas. :(

Depression and EE go together like Turkey and stuffing. Happiness and Albert Square are a contradiction in terms.
haha, definatly Alan. I dont think EE could do happy even if they tried. Why does someone always have to die at christmas in Walford. It must be jinxed i think id go away somewhere.

h yeah of course he did, so you cant even escape death by going away.
YOu have a much better memory than i do.
Was it christmas when they killed of Ethel.

The Christmas spoilers sound pretty boring to be honest, i can't wait for the SJ storyline to be over..i doubt it will be as good as the Charlie storyline from Corrie. I am glad that Jean will be returning, hopefully she will be in it permanently. I can't wait to see Pauline's exit, but i bet it will be a sad one. That's all i'm looking forward to to be honest. :)
I'm not looking to the SJ storyline either. I don't like any scene with her in it anyway. She's got zero charisma and is just a totally annoying character.

who's cooking christmas dinner this year for the square!!! will it be peggy?
Over on Talk Walford there is a scan from an interview with Kate Hardwood, at the end there is a little about the Christmas storylines.
It mentions that aside from Paulines exit there is going to be an "explosive, cataclysmic event that will rock the square". "Something that is going to delight and startle you all. It wouldn't be an Eastenders Christmas without tears but these are a different kind of tears"
I've no idea what that means, but if they are a different type of tears then they would be tears of joy(?) but what could possibly happen to be so cataclysmicly joyous?! :D

they recently denied she was coming back, maybe its a bbc cover up...

I hope not.. she's had her day if you ask me. I'm sick of her coming back then wandering off again, it's becoming boring. :thumbsdow

Maybe her eyebrows or black jacket could make a sensational  explosive  appearence:rotfl:

If Sharon does come back at Christmas then I can't wait until June/July 2007 when she'll leave again.
Or do we think she'd manage to stick around a whole year this time?
Maybe she could go and Join her ex husband and ex lovers:rotfl:

Is Sharon definitively coming back to do another stint on Enders?
Quite shocked if thats the case, and I can't see her sticking around for a whole year, BK. As soon as the (lucrative) panto season approaches, we wont see her for dust as she runs off to play the good fairy.....Oh no she wont!!!! Oh yes she bloomin' will!!!!! lol
So hoping if she does come back its just a fleeting visit (to see the ol' satsuma off).
