Stacey: Bradley!

Bradley: I know you blame me.

(Stacey looks at him)

And your right. I hurt you so much, and I am so sorry.

Stacey: Bradley (pleadingly)

Bradley: I know what your going to say.

Stacey: No, you don't.

Bradley: This ain't working out. You think we should call it a day.

Stacey: No! That's not it.

Bradley: Then what?! I'm running out of ideas.

Stacey: Look, Will you do something for me? Will you just sit there and not say anything for a bit. Just let me do the talking.

(Bradley sits down on the chair opposite)

Stacey: This isn't you, it's me.

Bradley: What? No it ain't Stace..

Stacey: Bradley! Will you just let me say what i've got to say!

(Bradley looks at her)

I didn't have the abortion.

(Bradley sits with a confusd look on his face)

Bradley: What?!

Stacey: I would have given up my baby's life for you, you know? gladly, back then. If you had just been honest with me.

Bradley: 3 months?! 3 months?! Since your supposed abortion.

Stacey: My baggy clothes had to come in use somehow huh?!

Stacey: (smiling at him) Hey that's the mother of your child your talking to.

Bradley: Just stay away from me!

Stacey: What did I just say? I don't want to.

I dont think Bradders did lie about saying he loved her, but the timing was rather convenient, ie in helping get his own way (emotional blackmail) over the abortion. But only time will tell, I guess!!!

Yeah I guess so. I hope he does love her. The way he looks at her sometimes, you can see there's definetely genuine feelings there. But it also seems like he doesn't know what love is, and doesn't believe in it. It's tricky.

But the thing is, being in love was Stacey's reasoning for going through with having the baby. So if he hadn't of said 'I love you', wouldn't that make her not want to have the baby. I just don't know.

You know what, I thought about how Stacey would stand up for herself, but I didn't come up with what should happen after the event! lol.

I don't know if i'd want her to be a single mother. Maybe I'd have her and Bradley gradually trying to repair things. But then that would kind of go against everything she's just said.

I got a surprise from my mum today regarding the abortion storyline, when we were watching EE together (I haven't watched EE with her for weeks). She told me that she thought Bradley was horrible, and that it was Stacey's choice, and that he should have supported her decision.

My mum is one of those types that thinks that there are no circumstances in which you should be a single mother, and that careers comes first. She is 100 percent pro-choice, and has had an abortion herself. I totally thought she would be on Bradley's side.

It proves to me just how horrible Bradley must have come across to her.

It has made me dislike Bradley even more, for the situation.

I hope he redeems himself, I really do.

Sean: Hey Stace,

(Stacey's looking a bit shell shocked)

you o.k.

Stacey: I told him.

Sean: Bradley?!

(Stacey nods)

And?!

Stacey: What I expected. He blew up.

Sean: Are you alright?

Stacey: Yeah, yeah i'm alright.

Sean: You'll always have me you know?!

Stacey: Don't make promises you can't keep.

(Bradley banging on the door)

Sean: I'll go.

(Stacey looks at him) (Sean opens the door)

Bradley: I want to see Stacey!

Sean: I'm not letting you in.

Bradley: I need to see her.

Sean: What part of no, don't you understand?!

(Stacey hears and walks to the door)

Stacey: It's alright.

(Bradley and Sean look up)

Sean: I'm not leaving you alone with him.

Bradley: I ain't gonna hurt her?!

Sean: Your damn right about that!

Stacey: It's o.k. Sean, I can take care of it.

(Sean looks at her)

Sean: I'll be upstairs.

(Sean stares at Bradley, kisses Stacey, and goes up)

Bradley: It's like mafia country around here.

Stacey: What do you want Bradley?! I thought you said you never wanted to see me again.

Bradley: Well it's a bit difficult living next door to you isn't it?!

Stacey: Well why don't you move back to your mums, if you find it that hard.

(Bradley stares at her)

Bradley: Well I can't do that can I?!

Stacey: Don't see why not?!

Bradley: Your carrying my baby!

(Stacey looks at him and sits down)

Stacey: Bradley. I don't expect anything from you. I knew that things would turn out this way. There's no need for you to stick around, nobody is gonna stop you leaving.

Bradley: How about your brother?!

Stacey: Are you kidding?! He can't wait to see the back of you.

Bradley: And how about you?!

Stacey: I'll cope on my own.

Bradley: And does a decent guy run out on his baby?

Stacey: I'm not sure, when I meet one i'll let you know. (smiles)

(Bradley looks at her)

Bradley: I did love you, you know.

(Stacey looks at him)

I would have stayed with you, if you'd said you wanted to keep the baby. Why all the lies? all the deceit?!

(Bradley looks at her)

Bradley: Look (gets some money out), I want you to take this.

Stacey: Money?!

Bradley: For the baby.

Stacey: I don't want it!

Bradley: Look, I'll leave it on the table.

(Stacey looks)

(Bradley gets up looking a bit upset)

I'm going to get the train tomorrow, back to my mums.

(Stacey looks a bit upset)

Your right. I've got nothing to stick around for.

Stacey: How about your dad?!

Bradley: What about him?!

Stacey: He'll miss you.

Bradley: Well i'll ring him.

(starts walking towards the door)

Stacey: Bradley!

Bradley: Yeah.

Stacey: (silence, lost for words)

Bradley: Bye. (He walks out)

Jim: Oh, so that's it is it. Your leaving cause of her.

Bradley: I just think it's for the best.

Jim: Why don't you just take a couple of days to think it over, hey?! you and Stacey might be able to work things out.

Sean: So how did it go last night?!

Stacey: He's leaving.

(Charlie enters)

Charlie: Hey Stace! you'll never guess what your nan has gone and done now, she's only...

(A lightbulb goes on in Stacey's head! lol)

Stacey: Look, I'm sorry uncle Charlie i've got to go.

Charlie: Yeah, where you going?!

Sean: Stace! (Looking sternly)

Stacey: Uncle Charlie will you give me a lift to the train station.

Charlie: Why?! Are you alright love?!

Sean: She's fine! What are you playing at?! (to Stacey)

Stacey: Please. I can't say why right now, I just need you to take me, please (to Charlie)

Charlie: O.k, come on.

(walks out)

(Sean catches Stacey's arm)

Sean: Stacey!

Stacey: Sean i've got to tell him I love him. I'll regret it if I don't.

Sean: You don't need him messing up your life.

Stacey: I'd rather do this with him than without. I have to give my baby that chance. Please, just let me go!

(Sean lets go of her arm, and watches after her)

(Charlie arrives at train station)

Stacey: Thanks Uncle Charlie. (ready to get out)

Charlie: I'll wait for you.

(Stacey gets out)

(Speaker saying that the train to Tring is leaving in 5 mins, from platform 3)

(Stacey listens, and follows the signs)

(Stacey sees Bradley about to get on the train)

Stacey: Bradley!

Bradley: Stace.

(Stacey looks at him)

What are you doing here?!

Stacey: I needed to see you before you went.

Bradley: Stace, the train leaves in a minute.

Stacey: There's other trains!

(Bradley looks at the train)

(trains about to leave, Bradley puts his suitcase down on platform, and train pulls away)

Bradley: So?!

Stacey: Can we go and sit down, get a coffee or something?!

(Bradley follows her to the cafe)

Stacey: There's stuff I didn't say before. Stuff I should have said.

Bradley: Yeah?!

Stacey: Yeah.

Bradley: Like what?!

Stacey: Like, I didn't not tell you about the baby to hurt you.

Bradley: No

Stacey: I was scared.

(Bradley looks at her)

Bradley: Why?!

Stacey: Cause you didn't want the baby, and I thought you'd dump me.

Bradley: How many times did I have to say it Stace?! that i'd never leave you.

Stacey: Well your doing it now.

(Bradley looks)

Bradley: I can't trust you anymore.

(Stacey wonders whether she should go, but decides to give it another try)

Stacey: I'm sorry (sad). I shouldn't have lied. That stuff I said about knowing it was going to end up like this, it wasn't true. I thought if I gave you enough time, you might start to feel different, that maybe we shouldn't have given the baby up, and then I could tell you that I didn't go through with it, and things would be o.k.

Bradley: How could you think that?!

Stacey: I don't know.

Bradley: Well you've said your piece. I think you should go now.

Stacey: So that's it?!

(Bradley looks at her)

Over! Just like that.

Bradley: Thought you could cope on my own.

Stacey: I can cope on my own.

Bradley: Then why are you here?!

Stacey: Cause I love you.

(Bradley looks at her in disbelief)

Bradley: Really?! Am I supposed to believe that.

Stacey: It's the truth.

Bradley: Look, I don't want to do this with you. I can't stand it.

Stacey: What about your baby?! Doesn't it deserve something from you..

Bradley: I'll help you out financially. I'll pay my way.

(Bradley looks)

Bradley: I don't think I can give it that.

Stacey: Look fair enough, you don't love me anymore. (Bradley looks at her) I understand. But don't punish our baby for my mistakes. Please.

Bradley: I've got to go.

Stacey: The next train's not for another 10 minutes.

Bradley: Don't do this?! I can't handle it.

Stacey: I love you.

(Bradley looks at her)

I love you, and I can't stand you hating me.

Bradley: I don't hate you. I just don't like you.

Stacey: What about love?!

Bradley: It doesn't solve everything.

Stacey: It's a good start.

Stacey: Can't you just, try and understand.

(Stacey's crying)

Stacey: I'm gonna have a baby. Everything that's happened before, we can put it behind us.

Bradley: Yeah, what if I don't want to?! (sternly)

Stacey: Well there's not a lot I can do, is there?! I just hope your happy.

Bradley: You think I like doing this?! I don't know what else to do.

Stacey: There doesn't have to be any pressure. You don't have to be with me if you don't want. You can be as involved as you want with the baby. It doesn't have to ruin your life.

Bradley: I can't Stace. I can't. I'm sorry, i've got to go.

Stacey: Bradley!

Bradley: I'm sorry.

(Walks to the train, Stacey starts crying)

(Cut to them talking about her and Bradley)

Stacey: Yeah there is. I'm stupid! How could I think that Bradley would just roll over and take this. I should never have listened to you. I should have come clean at the start.

Sean: He still would have been mad at you for wanting to keep it.

Stacey: But at least he wouldn't have thought me a liar!

Sean: We can cope with this. We'll all look after you, you don't have to be alone.

Stacey: I want Bradley!

Sean: Stace!

Stacey: Look just leave me alone, o.k. Just leave me be.

(Sean looks at her and walks off)

(Bradley sitting on the train)

Nosy Woman: You alright, you seem a bit distracted.

Bradley: Yeah i'm o.k.

Nosy Woman: Want to talk about it?

Was she your girlfriend?!

Nosy woman: Oh

Bradley: It's complicated.

Nosy Woman: Yeah, it always is my love.

Bradley: Look I don't want to be rude, but I just want to sit quietly.

Charlie: I'm worried about Stacey.

Mo: She'll be o.k. She'll bounce back.

(Bradley looking at his watch)

Nosy woman: You know the next stop is coming up soon, you could get off turn round.

Bradley: Why would I want to do that?!

Nosy Woman: Just a thought.

(Bradley looks at her)

Sean: No (Slams the door)

Charlie: Who was it?!

Sean: Just some woman trying to sell something!

Ruby: Right i'd better get a move on, open up the stall.

Mo: Yeah i'll come with you love.

(Stacey nods)

Sean: (to Stace) You alright?

I'm going to stay here with you.

Stacey: No you've got to go to work, I'll be fine.

Sean: I can't leave you.

(Stacey dazed lets him in)

(they walk into the kitchen)

Stacey: So what are you doing here?! (fighting mood)

Bradley: I shouldn't have left things the way I did. I needed to see you.

Stacey: I thought you would have said everything you had to say yesterday.

Bradley: Well you were wrong.

(Stacey looks at him)

Stacey: So what do you want say then?!

Bradley: I realised that I was running away.

Stacey: Oh your such a genius?! You get on a train, and that's only occured to you now (laughing).

Bradley: I got thinking on the train about the baby and about you.

(Stacey looks)

Stacey: And?!

Bradley: Being in a different place, isn't gonna change anything. I'm still gonna be a dad, and i'm still gonna love you.

Sure I could try and put it to the back of my mind, pretend that things are o.k. But it would still be there. And I know that I just wouldn't recover from it.

Stacey: So what does that mean?

Bradley: I think we should try and work at it.

(Stacey looks)

Stacey: So suddenly you've just completely changed your mind about everything?!

Bradley: I don't want to be without you. I can't imagine being with anyone else.

Stacey: And the baby?
