i read on this webpage:

that (mel burton)cassie powney from hollyoaks was joining eastenders as a caroline macer...could it be someone related to joe macer?
Can any one tell me if its true? It seems like new news as the page was updated just 2dai.

Yes it would be - anybody can edit Wikipedia. I did so just now myself - changed 'Mel' to Melanie.

Not saying this isn't true though just saying anybody (you, me, whoever) can edit the information on that site,

i thought that too, ive used it quite a bit, dont think ill be doing that again if anyone can right anything on there!

i dont reckon its true (although id like it to be), on the ee site in joes character profile, there isnt anyone called caroline under his family and it seems a bit odd that it was updated the day after she left hollyoaks...........

There isn't any characters called Caroline Macer currently listed as relative to Joe, and Wilkpedia is editable by anyone, so isn't a truly trustworthy source. Therefore, it doesn't appear this is true, and as Di M said, funny how it was posted the day after her exit from Hollyoaks was screened.

Therefore, closing (unless further information comes to light)
