Week 39
Monday
Liz tells Libby that Owen has disappeared. They go and find Denise, who reveals that Owen threatened to kill himself when he left – but she assures Libby that it's just an empty threat. Jack urges Peggy to be more supportive of Honey and Billy but she is still reluctant to visit the baby. Elsewhere, Stacey notices Sean flirting with Ruby and warns him not to play games with her but will he listen?
Tuesday
Denise returns home with Kevin but is shocked when she finds Liz in a bad way. She demands to know where Libby is. Liz begs Denise not to involve the police but Chelsea is worried when she can't find Libby's passport...
Meanwhile, Peggy urges Jack to talk to Honey about her options but Jack can't bring himself to. Elsewhere, Jake is annoyed when Sean skips work to spend time with Ruby.
Thursday
Still unaware of Libby's whereabouts, Denise leaves desperate voicemail messages on Owen's phone. Kevin demands that they go back and call the police. When Owen sees Denise calling again, he ignores it but decides to send one last text.
Friday
At the hospital, Denise sits by Libby's bed. She thanks Kevin for helping her and is relieved to hear that the police are waiting for Owen. Elsewhere, Billy and Honey prepare to bring Petal home from hospital. Billy assures Honey that it's all going to be fine but Honey is alarmed when she is asked to talk to the doctor about home care.
Meanwhile, Jake is uncomfortable with Sean working at the club. He tells Ruby that things aren't working out but, when he can't give her a reason to get rid of Sean, she insists he stays. Later, Jake thinks that he can play Sean at his own game but it doesn't all go to plan.
OOoh wonder what Owen has done to Libby..

I thought that too, maybe Petal is there pet name for Janet, alot of parents have them for there children. I have one but never would admit what it was to friends.
One last text!!!!! Maybe Owen decides if he can't see Libby then no one can???????

Thats what i think it mean!!! If he can't be with his daughter then neither can Denise. She does end up in hospital so somthing must happen to her.

They must call the police and say that Libby is missing, thats why there waiting. The could excuse (sp) him of abduction and then something must happen to Libby for her to end up in hospital, so they will have the police in to be involved with that.

Hey why are the police waiting for Owen does he hurt squiggle I know he is violent drunk.
But would he really hurt squiggle I understand he becomes mentally unstable when under the influence of alcohol, but he seems to really love his daughter I can’t see him hurting her but they do say they hurt the people they love the most.

I think Honey and Billy change the name of the baby because Janet was Honey's mother and she wanted her "perfect" baby named after her. Now they've found out she is not, as they would say, "perfect", they don't want to name her after Honey's mother.

RUBY LIVES A TEEN DREAM
The smitten girl thinks that hunky Sean's fallen for her
By Tony Stewart
WHAT could it be that Sean Slater suddenly finds so attractive in little Ruby Allen? Well, apart from the fact she owns her own night club and is likely to inherit the ill-gotten millions of her dad, gangland boss Johnny Allen…

Walford’s naive little miss rich girl is easily fooled by a gold-digger like Sean, and you can’t help but fear she’ll suffer the same kind of heartbreak of finding out that her first love Juley had been paid by Phil to take her virginity.
Parading around the house with just a towel wrapped around his waist, Sean soon has Ruby in hormonal meltdown. So it’s lucky that best mate Stacey is there to warn off her brother.
‘Will you stop teasing ’er, Sean?’ Stace tells ginger top. ‘Look, this isn’t a game. She’s ’ad enough blokes do a number on ’er. She does not need She does not need you danglin’ yer carrot for ’er to nibble.’
As much as newcomer Rob Kazinsky has created a striking bad boy in the school of Dead Dennis and a young Grant, Louisa Lytton is miscast as teenage temptress Ruby. She looks so young that you can’t help feeling she should be drooling over boy bands rather than a psychotic ex-squaddie.
While Sean is content with a gentle seduction and a kiss, he still has his needs, especially now that he’s drinking tea without bromide in it. So he seduces a brewery rep called Karen. And when there’s a re-match in the club office on Friday, Jake uses it as a chance to expose Sean to Ruby as a scumbag who’s out to exploit her.
Unfortunately, it’s a trap that doesn’t quite go according to plan…
ALSO:
Never let it be said that there’s anything wrong with British justice. Being let off with a suspended sentence for GBH has taught that drunken thug Owen a lesson. Why not graduate to beating up his own mum Liz, kidnapping daughter Libby, then trying to kill her, first with a car’s exhaust fumes and, when that fails, trying to drown her? Luckily, he messes that up, too. But he can expect the full force of the law. Blimey, he might even get probation this time…
Mirror, Soapbox.
Do we feel sorry for Ruby?
Nah she is so annoying.
Do feel sorry for Denise, she should have listened to her instincts, and not to her daughter.
