View Full Version : TV USB Cards
Does any have, or know of some that has, TV USB cards, that allow you to watch tv/freeview on your pcs/laptops by simply putting plugging it into the usb drive.
Are there any downsides to it? Can you recommend a specific brand or make? Thanks in advance

Wow... I never knew there was such a thing... Sounds useful :) *writes on Spicy's things to get list :rotfl:*
my idea is to get one for uni, as it saves me having to take a tv down there, as my laptop can be a dvd player, tv and recorder, and stero - sorted! :D

And a small tabletop aerial gives reasonable pictures. If you have a big enough hard drive you can use it as a pvr.
i was looking at one for 40 quid from argos it said 125 channels, to watch 16 at a time... so i presumed it meant freeview?... i never realised you have to have an ariel aswell... they never point out all of these things do they? its quite annoying
i suppose if i could get basic 5 channels with reasonable reception i'd be content tough
Have a look at the reviews on www.ebuyer.com
Some are good, and some a very bad ...
So would you still need a tv license?
