I wouldnt even lower myself to vote in these awards. No offence to you spicy for posting them but its fairly obvious which soap will win all on these biased awards.:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I take no offence lol. I'm sure Lacey would get an award though.. just for the soap itself I'm a bit concerned lol..

EastEnders has won best soap at the TV Quick & TV Choice Awards 2006 for the first time in three years.

Best Newcomer went to Charlie Clements who plays Bradley Branning in EastEnders.

Coronation Street also won two awards including Best Soap Storyline for Alzheimers and eventual death of Mike Baldwin as well as Bradley Walsh taking home Best Soap Actor for his role as Danny Baldwin.

Emmerdale grabbed the best actress prize for Ursula-Holden-Ginn who played deceased Alice Dingle.

Other winners in the evening included Doctor Who taking 3 prizes including Best Loved Drama, Best Actor and Actress for David Tennant and Billie Piper.

Noel Edmonds also swiped the Best Daytime Show for the hit gameshow Deal Or No

The only shock was that DE didn't sweep the boards. In fairness CS and EM deserved the awards they won.

Well done DE. Your rivals Imperial Leather, Camay and Dove are envious. :cool:

I really think EastEnders has been quite good over the past few weeks, also i hope that Hollyoaks do well in tese awards as they've had some great stuff! I think that Honey and Billy deserve an awards especially witht eh upcoming baby storyline!

Totally agree! I have already voted EE, but i'd love Hollyoaks to get some too, I would of voted for them but it was ages ago and i wasn't into it at the time. :)
