eastenders character's

To me eastenders has a habbit of recycling characters (i,e sean/dennis deano/mickey ok you can argue they're diffrent but there are REAL simlar features) and I want to know what you would do with characters.

Like sean would you have gave him the really moody approach or have him more how he was in dream team more (charisma etc)or deano instead of that cheeky lad approch which eastenders has loads off ,maybe deano could be a slightly darker type of guy.so in essence what would you do with characters that you feel are not being used like you would want them to.

(it will also give me ideas on my own characters but dont tell anyone)

Well with Deano I would make him more likeable. That would be hard I hear people say! lol.

To me he either has to be a 'jack the lad' type in which case, you'd see him with a lot more women that he has had. Or somebody like Mickey who is a nice down to earth friendly kind of guy.

I actually don't think Mickey and Deano are similar, Deano is way too much of a show off. He just comes across as pathetic!

Too soon to judge Sean.

I want Stacey back to her old self. I like she has respect for Bradley, and their love is beautiful :wub: but Lacey likes her bitchy side, and I think so do most of the audience. The way she stands up for herself, it makes people respect her, and take notice. That needs to come back.

In turn Bradley needs to be a bit more masterful! lol. I don't want him to turn into Sean, but I think there has to be something there to keep Stacey's interest. He does have a certain charisma, but I just need to see more of it.

you are 100% acurate with the mickey/deano thing I did mean it as in cheeky chappies but true deano to anyone over 16 is just smug and annoying and in no way a good character in fact someone they should axe.

Sean already has a huge following behind him I do have visions of a new 'SHANNIS' somewhere down the road I dont know with who though

To improve Deanoooo's character I'd either axe him from the show, or give him a typical Enders personality make over....

I'd start by turning him into a gay, friends of the earth type vegan, who is away from the square for long periods of time, on tree hugging/earth saving demos.

Personally I wish they would just axe the character.:D
