it is reported in todays sun newspaper that johnny allen will be in the background of his own furneral when the coffin is being lowered you will see him in the background wearing a parka coat with the hood pulled up. however johnny is really dead, billy murray just wanted to have a joke.

Why is he at the funeral?! Is it to ensure Johnny Allen is toast, and that they dont try and do a 'dirty den' with his character and bring he back in 16 years time!!!!

Are they going to say he was killed by one of his cell mates?! Maybe he goes on a witness protection programme?!

Remember they were going to do that with Cindy a while back. A way of bringing her back from the dead saying she had been sent away for her own protection.

It is the actor himself who turns up not the character... Bill Murray just wanted to make sure he was dead.. so from our point of view and that of EE he is dead.. just look in the background to see if you can spot a man in a hood.. it is not a plot line, just Bill himself hiding as we would spot if he was there and wonder if Johnny was dead or not

As it is linked to Ruby's exit in November I suspect it may also be conncted with her new boyfriend whom Johnny receives a tip off about. Her boyfriend could be a son/relative of someone Johnny has either crossed in the past or killed and they are out for revenge, starting with Johnny and ending with Ruby, possibly someone in between:p That's what I'm guessing anyway.

He is definitely dying. I read that the question is not if he will die in 2006, but when. I've heard that he will come back for revenge on the Mitchells', so his death could be down to them.

I didn't know Johnny was dying either...when i first read it, i found it pretty random that the actor would just be standing there watching his character in a coffin and saying he wants to do it for a 'joke'.

According to the Daily Mirror today it says that "Johnny Allen plans to break out of jail and run away with Ruby." To which the writer of the article has added, "Well, that's a result for viewers." To which we all say, hear hear.

Well I suppose it's a good idea. But considering Ruby's attitude towards him when all that stuff about him murdering all those people came out, why would she go with him?! I know he's her dad and it's hard to walk away, but she needs to do it.

Sharon said to Den that she would have gone with him, but I don't think Ruby and Johnny had the close relationship that Sharon and Den had.
