Dermot O'Leary has signed a deal to move to the BBC in order to host a new National Lottery game show.

The presenter will host 1 vs 100, a quiz show setting one individual against 100 other contestants competing against them.

Although the 33-year-old has worked on Big Brother for five years, he has reportedly become disillusioned with the lack of new opportunities offered to him at Channel 4.

A source told the Mirror: "It's fair to say Dermot has been eclipsed on Big Brother by the fever surrounding Russell Brand, who presents the other spin-off show Big Mouth. He wants to spread his wings so he's really excited to be doing the Lottery. It's a fresh challenge." disasterious

Russell has kind of taken over Dermot's fame on Big Brother. I love them both, but i do thing that there isn't the room for 2 men! And channel 4 don't really give Dermot enough. He has been around on BB for longer, and yet Russel get's his own show first.
Totally understand why he wants to move, but will miss him loads, the show won't be the same without.

compared to Russel, Dermot doesnt have it, BBLB hasnt got the same sparkle as big mouth, i find Dermot a tad boring, he isnt the best presenter around, but each to their own, good luck with the new beeb project dermot!
