I am  Bradley tells her he is not ready to be a dad and that the most responsible thing to do is for her to have an abortion. When she says that she is not sure that it is the right thing to do he threatens her. He says it is me or the baby. Not wanting to lose Bradley she goes through with the abortion but afterwards hates him for blackmailing her into it and does not wish to see him.
Oh dear.

well they are very young! but stil i would never of thought that of bradley
I think its for the best, all the teens in soaps are having babys. it will be quite upsetting though and i think it will take some time for stacey to get over it.
I thought Bradley was better than that tbh, shame on him!
I just hope the storyline comes around for him to justify his actions :nono:

well his dad says that he had kids way too young, and that contributed to why he ran out on Bradley and his mum. maybe Bradley doesn't want to make the same mistakes as his dad? (although contraception might have been a bit less of a traumatic way of preventing such mistakes!)

In a way i want them to keep it (it'll be sweet:wub: ) but in a way it may ruin their characters, so No.
I can understand why Bradley would say this - they are both young, inexperienced and lets be honest, neither ready to have a child. OK, so he shouldn't put it like, its me or the baby, but like LostVoodoo said, he knows what it was like to grow up without his dad around, and probably doesn't want the same to happen to anyone else. It makes a change not to have another teen pregnancy and to focus on the other side of it instead.
Hopefully, it will promote the use contraception message again, and reinforce that at a young age, neither option is the easy way out of something that could have been prevented in the first place.

thats a shame really, it would have been good viewing seeing stacey become a mum. cant beleive bradley:angry:
wouldn't it be good if she said she has the abortion but didn't really go through with it, or is that just wishfull thinking:hmm:

Sorry, I'm afraid it is wishful thinking. He accompanies Stacey to the abortion clinic for "support" but I think it was to make sure that she went through with it. Although I can see where Brad is coming from, it is a tragedy that he is allowing his own emotional baggage get in the way of giving Stacey the support she needs to keep the baby.

:(
Lets face it - Stacey has a mind of her own - if she really wanted to keep the baby, she would have. Ok, so she doesn't want to lose Bradley, but he is being honest, he doesnt feel ready to become a father, they have their whole lives in front of them. He shouldn't do it the way it appears he does, but many many couples go through this same situation, whether they are young or old, and I personally think its great that EE are for once showing the other side of the coin. If they'd used contraception in the first place, none of this would have happened.

Shame on him! How could he do this to his own child and make stacey go along with it. :nono:

I pleased he made her get rid of it, it would be a awful storyline.
