Take That star Mark Owen has finally got his very own babe after becoming a dad for the first time.
The singer's girlfriend Emma Ferguson gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday. Elwood Jack Owen was two weeks overdue and weighed in at 9lbs 2oz.
"Both mother and baby are in great health," a spokeswoman said. The couple have been together for two years.
Emma Ferguson is an actress who has appeared in episodes of Doctors and The Bill. She discovered she was pregnant shortly after Take That got back together.
Owen, 34, has been getting advice on fatherhood from his bandmates. Gary Barlow and Howard Donald each have two children. Take That are working on their first new album in over ten years and recently finished a sell-out reunion tour.
Meanwhile former Take That star Robbie Williams has said he might have gone back on stage with the band had it not been for his new album and own live dates.
He told a newspaper: "I met up with them all and it was really lovely but I just didn't want to do it.
"The fans would have loved it and, to be honest with you, had I not had a tour and an album coming out I'd have maybe done the whole tour."
