For those of you who watch this, Irish TV is way ahead of the UK on the new series so I will pass on some things that have happened
Carla is pregnant but she didn't know.. she thought the test should take 1 min and went to work, Turk found it and noticed it was positive (test needed 3 mins). He told everyone and organised a surprise but Carla says she wants to tell everyone herself if she is pregnant but it turns out for the best
The old woman with the infectious decease makes a recovery but an error by a new intern cause her to die (very very sad episode)
Summary from Imdb from the episode shown on monday in Ireland
J.D attempts to get close to Dr. Cox by asking him out to lunch, which fails. J.D. follows Dr. Cox to a local store they run into an old patient, Jill Tracy, the most annoying person alive. At the same time there are three patients as Sacred Hart each waiting for an organ. One for a liver, one for a heart valve, and Dr. Cox's patient, a kidney. The next day J.D. runs into Jill again and is forced to sit through a lunch where she discusses how sad her life is. J.D. returns to the hospital to find Jill has overdosed, and downer for J.D. but still he is allowed to use her organs. Each one of the patients gets what they needed but thats not enough to help J.D's crushing guilt until Dr. Cox takes him out to lunch. When they return all the transplant patients are crashing. It turns out that Jill actually died of rabies, now the rest are infected. Each one of them dies, including Dr. Cox's patient. Dr. Cox leaves the hospital leaving J.D. wondering if he's ever coming back.

So scrubs came back on to Irish tv last night after a 4 week break ( :angry: )
Dr cox turns up to work drunk after he feels responsible for the death of 3 patience.. Carla been hormonal from the pregnancy organises everyone to do shifts to look after him at home as he is not talking to anyone and just drinks all the time... everyone agrees but when it comes down to it JD backs out
Turk got a new head of surgury but he is not what is expect.. the new doctor is all about feelings and Turk just can't get with that. After over hearing Turk say he doesn't like all this, the new doctor doesn't let him perform some operations.. Even though he tries Turk just can't be sensitive
Final JD does go to see Dr Cox and says that the reason he didn't show up is because he was scared.. He always saw Cox as a superhero and he felt that when he turned up drunk, that went.. JD went on to say that he admires Dr Cox that even after 20 years as a doctor he could still feel this way about patients... Dr Cox started talking again and got back on his feet....
(my notes: quiet sad episode for a comedy but was really really sweet at the end)

All sounds blooming fantastic! I have been loving season 5 it's as great as ever and has not lost it's flair!
Sounds like two powerful episodes which will have me reaching for the tissues. I love the who J.D and Dr. Cox relationship, and it sounds very heart-warming.
I have seasons 1-4 on Dvd, and today I am going to start a Scrubs marathon, as I am ill and need a laugh.

Thanks hun, it has but I have plenty more to go yet, which might take me up until I start uni on monday :)
Next episode: Dr cox came back to work and is given all his patient back. When Elliot asks him to make a decision on a patient, he excuses himself and walks away.. Elliot is convinced that Dr cox is afraid that he won't make the right one and trys talking to him.. Dr cox makes a decision and when Elliot ask the nurse for the medication, she is told that Cox told the nurse 3 hours before.. Cox tells Elliot he left cause he need to use the bathroom...Elliot is so annoyed and tells him that he has never shown any respect for her since she started. Later Cox does tell her that she was right, he couldn't make the decision and had to go think about it.
Elsewhere, Carla tells Turk that as she has to go without certain things so does he, that means no beer, coffee and arrange of other things Carla can't have or do. JD sets a riddle for the Janitor
(it was actually quiet funny episode and still has that heartwarming feel to it.. )
all the patients dying is awful that is not a funny thing to have in it
Yeah but while scrubs is a comedy it is set in a hospital, and the reality is people do die in them.
I think scrubs usualy handle it in a sensitive manner though, so whilst parts are funny some are more poignant.
I cant wait til its shown over here, the new series with calra pregnant sounds great!
Next week in UK is a good one... It deals with death in a compasionate way.. That woman who everyone loved in the hospital will die because of Cabbage

Ok.. JD gave all his interns nicknames.. If you seen it last night you would know who Cabbage was...

OMG.. this week was good.. just a catch up.. last week JD was chatting with a hot doctor, this week they were going out on their first date and Elliot kept ruining the moment.
Elliot decided to throw Carla a baby shower and Dr Cox and Jordan realising that Jack in now older gave them all their baby crap and laughed at them... later we find out that Jordan is pregnant again... Dr Cox is not happy has he had a vasecetomy but it has failed... Carla and Turk return their crap and laugh at them but they are ok about it
Later JD and the new doctor do get it on and at the very end she announces that she is pregnant.. to be continued.
(I will let you all know bout it next week.. it was fun when Dr cox and jordan find out they are pregnant again.. :rotfl::rotfl: )

That episode sounds fantastic, I can't wait! I bet Dr. Cox is in a right state over Jordan getting preggers, especially when he went for the chop back in series 3!

it was really funny.. Jordan says she was really tired all week, then she says her boobs are getting bigger that the doctor who did her botox must have added a bit to them and then she says she is nausous.. and then it hits them both.. but I am not going to tell you what they do to the doctor who messed up the snip but it is funny :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I bet whatever they do, knowing Jordan and Cox, it will be very very funny!:rotfl: I'm glad they have added humour to it again, after the sad couple of weeks I have read about on here, which reminds me that I must stock up on tissues for the event.

Yeah.. Scrubs back on Irish tv.. thought I would give you spoiler with my little twist on it
J.D. deals with the news that he's going to be a father; Dr. Cox worries about how his anger is going to affect his offspring; and the Janitor wonders whether his personal vendetta against J.D. is a waste of time.
Actually this was quiet funny.. great bit at the end where Turk gets back at JD for telling him Carla's middle name was Juanita!! and bit surprising how JD got his girlfriend pregnant.. and of course Jordan is classic as always

As J.D. and Kim (Elizabeth Banks) struggle to decide what to do about her pregnancy, Carla goes into labor; Turk feels overshadowed by Elliot; and Jordan (Christa Miller) takes issue with how Dr. Cox treats Jack: like a “drinking buddy” and not a 3-year-old boy.
This is a really good episode. I am not going to tell you what Carla has but there is classical moments in this show.. JD and Kim decide to keep the baby and the moments with Jack and Dr Cox are fantastic...
Classic moment with Ted and video camera.. brilliant!!!

Any new spoliers? I laughed at the episode last week regarding Carla having the baby, trust Turk!
I missed a couple of episodes so I am watching on E4 now but i have seen this weeks one.. It is really good.. Doctor Cox becomes a detective investigating 3 issues in the hospital.. watch out for a little twist at the end which I totally didn't get..
Dr. Cox feels a bit like the title character of the TV show “House” when he's confronted with solving three mysteries: two are medical-related, and the third involves Elliot, who is angry at Kelso, but taking it out on Turk. Meanwhile, Carla seems to be experiencing the baby blues, and J.D. tries to make himself the perfect boyfriend for Kim (Elizabeth Banks).

My Friend With Money - Scrubs Elliot splurges on items for the apartment that she shares with J.D.; Dr. Cox and the Janitor become roommates, taking up joint residence in one of Sacred Heart's luxury suites; Turk encourages a depressed Carla to get help from a professional.
My Musical - Scrubs In this clever musical episode featuring songs by “Avenue Q” composers Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, a patient (Stephanie DAbruzzo) faints and awakens with a strange condition: Everyone, including herself and the Sacred Heart staff, appears to be singing. Meanwhile, Carla is torn between being a stay-at-home mom and returning to work; and Elliot struggles to find a way to tell J.D. that he isn't moving into her new home.
His Story IV - Scrubs A look at the world according to Kelso, who befriends an Iraq War veteran (Michael Weston) being treated at Sacred Heart. The soldier sparks political bickering among the staffers as they divide along party lines and end up neglecting the patient as they continue to argue. Meanwhile, J.D. looks for an apartment.

My Jerks January 6, 2009 Dr. Taylor Maddox (Courteney Cox) joins Sacred Heart as new chief of medicine and Dr. Cox tries to avoid her. J.D. struggles to manage new interns. Carla helps Elliot put her ego in check and Elliot apologizes to Keith for their break-up. The Janitor gets fired.
152 My Last Words January 6, 2009 J.D. and Turk choose to comfort a dying patient by setting aside their personal plans.
153 My Saving Grace January 13, 2009 Dr. Kelso and Cox come together to oust Dr. Maddox from Sacred Heart. Carla decides to take a self-centered, incompetent intern down a notch.
