not sure where i should put this.

Over on digitalspy someone has found a site for the new programme http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/southeast/sites/torchwood/.

AFter seeing the pictures of the cardiff torchwood base on doctor who confidential, and the pictures in the pictures section. Does anyone else think "the initiative ( from buffy s4)

ive never seen buffy, but it looks really good, cant wait for it to start!

I must say that i am well looking forward to Tourchwood starting, I loved Captain Jack in Dr Who so fingers crossed he is as good in this..:cheer:

regarding the initiative this totally reminds me of it and we all know how badly that ended lol

maybe that is the way RTD is going to go with it. He has said in many interviews he is a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But hope it isn't because that would be awful and hope it is more like the x files because that was mint and the initiative stuff in buffy was beyond rubbish.

the whole torchwood institute does sound like the initiative though? harnessing alien tech for our own purposes. Do any other buffy fans agree or am i just reading too much into it?

i agree I dont think i will be watching this, the initiative totally ruined buffy, i dont think i could watch a carbon copy of it

i agree, season 4 and all the initiative stuff was defininately the worst season of buffy - really let the show down. i hope torchwood doesn't end up like this!
