Bad Men (Prison Drama)

Hi there, as Hinston High is taking a break for the summer, i have been bored so i have decided to do a Bad Girls spin off called Bad Men set in a mens prison called Sunnyville Prison where it follows the lives of men prisoners on B Wing. Here's my first script. Reply with your opinion and criticisms. Thanks. :)

Episode 1

Scene 1- Sunnyville Prison/B Wing Office- Morning

(The episode begins with the camera overviewing Sunnyville Prison and we hear inmates shouting and screaming abuse from their prison cells. The camera jumps to B Wing and the wing office where prison officers are chatting and drinking coffee. The camera hops to a corridor where we see someone taking huge footsteps through the corridor. The camera suddenly looks up to see a smartly dressed man. We see him unlock a prison gate and he begins walking towards B Wing office)

Reese: Here he comes!

(Reese looks over to the smartly dressed man who is in fact B Wing Governor, Jonathan Jones)

Charlotte: I wonder what surprise he has up his sleeve today?!

Megan: God knows! He usually has us doing the dirty work!

James: Stop complaining! He's a damn well good wing governor!

Megan: You've only been in the job five minutes Greg, you don't have a bloody clue!

(Jonathan Jones enters B Wing Office and clears his throat)

Jonathan: Morning everyone.

All: Morning.

Jonathan: I will make this short and sweet so you can get cracking on unlocking the cells for breakfast. Today, we have a new inmate on B Wing and i am sure we have all heard of him....Johnny Allen!

Mike: Johnny bloody Allen! Shouldn't he be in the muppet house?!

(Jonathan ignores Mike's comments and continues)

Jonathan: Johnny Allen has been sentenced to 27 years for murder.

Megan: He's a psycho, in fact a nutcase!

Jonathan: We don't have time for any opinions on him..he was dangerous but he's not anymore...anyway get going, it's time for lock down.

Charlotte: God flamin' help us!

(All the POs exit and they begin unlocking the cells)

Scene 2- Andy Diego's Prison Cell- Morning

(Inmate Andy Diego is lying on his bunk in his prison cell when other inmates Dean Gallagher and Russ Carter enter)

Dean: Morning Diego..how was your first night locked up in this dump?

Andy: It was ok...

(Dean smirks along with Russ)

Dean: Don't make me laugh! Besides, you still haven't told me why you're inside...?

(Dean sits on Andy's bunk next to Andy)

Dean: Now i've told you why i am inside, i am inside for murdering my work boss so i think you should return the end of the bargain....

Andy: Look..it's none of your business! I just wanna keep my head down and do my time! Just leave me alone will ya?!

Dean: It is my business, once your in here, everything is my business...you get me?!

Andy: Look just go will ya...i want to get some breakfast!

Dean: Your not going anywhere!

(Dean blocks Andy's path and signals Russ to shut his cell door)

Dean: I don't think you understand me...now i am going to give you a taste of prison life!

(Dean suddenly kicks Andy in the privates..he yells out in pain as Dean punches him in the stomach. Andy falls to the floor...Dean watches from above laughing...Andy tries to get back up again but Dean headbutts him to the floor. Andy lies motionless on the floor. Dean exits and Russ follows)

Russ: That was a bit harsh wasn't it?!

Dean: For christ sake Carter, don't tell me you have a soft spot for him!?

(Dean walks back into his prison cell laughing to himself)

Scene 3- Wing Governor's Office- Morning

(Jonathan Jones is doing some paperwork in his office where PO Jack Mason enters)

Jack: Hawker's here for you sir.

Jonathan: Alright, send him in...

(The PO leaves and stands outside the office door as inmate Terry Hawker enters)

Terry: You wanted to see me sir?

(Terry looks anxious)

Jonathan: Yes that's correct...

(Terry panics)

Terry: Am i in any trouble?! I mean i have tried the best i can to keep my head down in this place!

Jonathan: Relax Hawker! Your not in any trouble, in fact..i have good news..

Terry: Good news!? What kind of good news!? Is it my appeal!?

Jonathan: You know your appeal failed...i have better news for you...

Terry: Like what?!

Jonathan: Your wife has just given birth to your child!

Terry: :eek: What!? This can't be true! She wasn't expecting anything when i came in here! She never told me! You must have got this all wrong!

Jonathan: It's perfectly correct...i can assure you!

Terry: Well can i see my baby?!

Jonathan: Your in prison Terry! Do you really think you can just leave here right now and visit the hospital!? :rolleyes:

Terry: No spose not..

Jonathan: Send off a visiting order to your wife..if your lucky she will come along and visit you, maybe along with the baby too!

(Terry breaks a smile)

Terry: Yeah i will do exactly that!

(Jonathan smiles back)

Jonathan: Remember Hawker, keep your head down, you will be out of here in just over a year!

(There's a pause before Jonathan shouts to PO Jack who is standing outside the office door)

Jonathan: You can escort him back to B Wing now.

(PO Jack enters the room and escorts Terry back to B Wing)

Scene 4- B Wing- Morning

(All the inmates are locked in their cells. We suddenly see PO Reese unlocking a prison gate with an inmate behind him. We look up to see that it's Johnny Allen. He is carrying his belongings with him)

Reese: Right, here we are! Welcome to B Wing!

Johnny: Just take me to my cell will ya?!

Reese: Where the hell do you think i'm taking you?!

Johnny: I want to make a phone call too..

Reese: Well that's not possible...your on the basic £2.50 a week and you can buy a phone card with the £2.50 that you recieve...

Johnny: I want to ring my daughter, Ruby Allen..it's urgent!

Reese: Sorry but this is a prison....not a free phone chat line!

Johnny: Do i get a cell of my own?

Reese: That's a privilege Allen and you haven't gained any..so what do you think!? :rolleyes:

Johnny: For christ sake....don't tell me i am sharing a cell?!

Reese: I am delighted to tell you that your sharing a cell with a convicted kidnapper!

(Reese opens up the cell where Russ is lying on his bunk. Johnny looks surprised)

Reese: Carter! You've got a new cell mate!

Russ: Bloody hell! What happened to our little deal!?

Reese: You! Get a cell of your own?! Your nothing but trouble Carter!

(Reese turns to Johnny)

Reese: Go on get in! We can't stand about here all day!

(Johnny walks into the cell)

Reese: Lunch is at noon! Enjoy!

(Reese shuts the cell and locks it)

Scene 5- Prison Canteen- Noon

(All the inmates are lining up to get their food as inmates Harry Dobson and Chris Barker are serving the food. Meanwhile the prison officers are patrolling the canteen. Dean suddenly walks over to Russ and sits down next to him)

Dean: I see that we have a new arrival...

(Dean looks over at Johnny who is waiting to be served)

Russ: Yeah..his name is Johnny Allen.

Dean: I think it's about time that i introduced myself to him!

Russ: Nah wait...he's getting his food, i will make him sit here...then you can introduce yourself properly...

Dean: But the screws are around..and i know they won't take too kindly of the way i introduce new arrivals...

Russ: Yeah your right but you've gotta let him know that your in charge sometime!

(Russ signals to Johnny)

Russ: Oi! Allen! Sit here...i will introduce you to the man in charge...

Johnny: Ey!?

(Johnny sits down next to Russ. He is opposite Dean)

Dean: Alright Allen! What you in for?

Johnny: Murder..that's what i am in for..

Dean: Seems like we have a lot in common then...i just thought i would let you know that i am the boss in this place..you get me?

Johnny: Well i don't take too kindly to people who tell me what to do!

Dean: Well you will have to get used to it won't ya!?

Johnny: The last time someone told me what to do..they ended up dead!

Dean: By you?! Yeah right...grandad!

(Johnny grabs Dean by the neck)

Johnny: Watch your mouth or you won't have one!

Dean: Instead of calling you Allen, i think i should call you grandad! You don't scare me!

Johnny: I'm a businessman..i am used to getting what i want...

Dean: So am i..

Johnny: I don't see you as a businessman....what was your life ambition!? Working in Mcdonalds!?

(Johnny laughs to himself. Dean gets up and punches Johnny to the floor)

Mike: Oi! Gallagher! Get off him!

(All the inmates begin to chant)

All: Fight! Fight! Fight!

(Dean gets on top of Johnny and keeps punching him in the face repeatedly. Mike grabs hold of Dean and restrains him as PO Charlotte helps Johnny get up from the floor. The other inmates look on at the action as their chanting dies down)

Mike: Right, Gallagher! Your off down the block!

(Dean shouts at Johnny as he is taken away)

Dean: You've got the mouth Allen but you ain't got the fists!

(Johnny gets up with all the inmates looking at him)

Johnny: What ya looking at!? You bunch of dumb asses!

(Johnny walks away wiping away the blood from his lips and nose)

Scene 6- Andy Diego's Prison Cell- Afternoon

(PO James enters Andy's prison cell. He sees him sobbing into his bunk)

James: Ey Andy! What's wrong?

Andy: Like you would care...your just a screw!

James: No in fact, i have just become your personal officer..

Andy: So! Is that meant to make a difference?!

James: Look Andy..you can tell me what you like whenever you like..you know that don't you?! If something or somebody is troubling you..you would tell me wouldn't you!?

Andy: I'm not a grass!

(Andy turns to James and he sees his bruised face)

James: Oh god! What the hell happened to you?!

Andy: I had an accident..that's what happened...i should have been more careful..

James: Don't kid yourself Andy! You got beaten up didn't you?! And you don't have to tell me who did it to you because i have been working on B Wing long enough to know who did this to you!

Andy: Ok who was it then?!

James: Dean Gallagher! He thinks he's the boss..like he's in charge of this place but it's just in his dreams...i think he needs a reality check!

Andy: Please don't do anything about this because Dean and all will think i grassed and all the inmates will have my guts for garters!

James: They will have your guts for garters once they find out why you're inside..that's why we have to keep it under wraps!

Andy: Yeah...fat chance of that though ain't there?!

James: What do you mean?!

Andy: I've heard about all the bent screws in this prison...i bet you can't wait to tell everyone why i'm inside!

James: I'm not like that Andy...i actually care for a prisoners well- being...especially yours...

Andy: I'm a convicted paedophile sir! Why do you care about my well-being!?

James: Well what you did was sick and perverted...but you know that you did wrong...not like some of the other inmates in here! And you don't have to call me sir....just call me James.

Andy: I've got to spend 12 years in this dump! I won't be able to survive, i just won't!

(Andy starts to cry)

James: You've got to stay strong and positive in this place or you won't survive and most importantly, you can't show the other inmates in here your vulnerability...

(James leaves Andy's cell as Andy reflects on what James just said)

Scene 7- Russ/Johnny's Prison Cell- Evening

(Lock-up has just finished and the camera goes to Russ and Johnny's prison cell)

Johnny: So Russ...your inside for kidnap?

Russ: Yeah if you must know! Been sentenced to 12 years...i have already done 2 years of my sentence!

Johnny: But you got another 10 years to go...

Russ: Yeah and you got 27 years...i will be long gone before you get out! You will probably die in here!

Johnny: You know what Russ?! I don't blame you for befriending Dean Gallagher...after all, your not a tough nut are you?! Atleast Gallagher will fight your battles for you...but Dean's not here now is he?! He's down the block...which just leaves me and you in a prison cell together...

(Johnny edges up closer to Russ. Russ looks terrified)

Johnny: You stay away from Gallagher..he's trouble!

Russ: I don't have to do what you say!

(Johnny pins Russ up against the wall)

Johnny: You better do what i say because your buddy won't be the toughest nut on this wing for much longer!

(Johnny releases his hands from Russ's neck)

I just got the inspiration of writing like this from watching Bad Girls. :)

Episode 2

Scene 1- B Wing Office- Morning

(Jonathan Jones turns up at B Wing Office- with a black eye! He clears his throat to speak)

Jonathan: Morning everyone...sorry i am late!

Charlotte: No problem..the later you are..the better..it means the inmates won't get out of their cells for breakfast!

(Jonathan raises his eyebrow at Charlotte and turns away from her)

Reese: What the hell happened to you anyway sir?

Jonathan: (angry) Just shut it will you! We are here for strictly professional purposes, not to explain myself to you!

Reese: Alright, alright! Don't bite my head off!

Jonathan: Anyway...today i want everything ship-shape! It was an absolute fiasco yesterday especially at lunchtime when Gallagher and Allen decided to square up to each other...anyway Gallagher's down the block for a week so don't expect to see him back until next week!

Mike: We tried our best to control the situation!

Jonathan: Yeah well try harder! We've got prison inspectors coming round B Wing next week and i don't want any type of fiasco happening!

(Nobody speaks)

Jonathan: Anyway time for lock down! Get on with it!

(Jonathan leaves the office but Reese chases after him)

Reese: Are you sure your ok sir?! coz that black eye looks quite nasty...

Jonathan: Shut up with the comments Reese..your here to do your job, not care about my welfare!

(Jonathan storms off as the POs begin unlocking the cells)

Scene 2- Tom/Max's Prison Cell- Morning

(Tom is lying on his bunk looking quite upset. Max walks into his cell after eating breakfast)

Max: What's up Tom!? Not like you to have no breakfast!

Tom: We're in prison! That's what's up!

(Tom turns round and Max sees that he's upset)

Max: Christ Tom! You have to be stronger than this! I never knew you were going to be this ate up about it!

Tom: I thought you would be ate up about this Max too! Instead, your acting like this is a haven holiday!

Max: I am just trying to stay positive that's all...we could learn something from being in this prison!

Tom: Learn something?! Are you having a laugh..the most we will learn is how to pump drugs into our bodies!

Max: Don't be so bloody negative..we are meant to be best mates!

Tom: I am just telling it like it is, accept it Max! This place is a *******hole!

(Max lies on his bunk thinking about what just Tom said)

Scene 3- Sunnyville Prison Garden- Morning

(All the inmates of B Wing are outside. Some are walking around absorbing the fresh air while some are planting flowers and chatting. The POs are patrolling the garden)

(Johnny walks up to Russ)

Johnny: It's nice absorbing this fresh air...

Russ: What do you want Allen?!

Johnny: Just a little friendly chat like we had last night...

Russ: I want you to leave me alone Allen...

Johnny: Your just saying that because your knight in shining armour isn't here!

Russ: Why do you want me to stay away from Gallagher anyway?

Johnny: I've known a lot of criminals in my time Carter..and straight away since Gallagher started on me yesterday, i knew he was trouble..i knew he was the criminal who was too big for his boots!

Russ: He's not too big for his boots!

Johnny: He is...and you've got to realise that!

Russ: Your too big for your boots...you've just arrived and your giving me orders!

Johnny: I am going to be in here for 27 years...i need to make friends.....and alliances...

Russ: Well it's too late for alliances..i am with Gallagher...

Johnny: Gallagher is down the block...i wouldn't call that much of an alliance would you!? :rolleyes:

Russ: Shut it Allen! You don't know anything!

Johnny: I know that i am the only person in this place who has a brain cell....i want us to build an alliance Carter...we can work together...you scratch my back...i'll scratch yours...

Russ: Forget it!

Johnny: Think about it Carter...don't decide straight away..

(Johnny walks away from Russ)

Scene 4- Andy Diego's Prison Cell- Afternoon

(Andy is up looking in the mirror at himself. He rolls up his sleeves and studies the scars on his arms. Suddenly his personal officer, James walks in)

James: Afternoon Andy...

(Andy jumps out of his skin and puts his sleeves back down his arms)

Andy: Oh sir! I didn't see you there...

James: What have i told you about calling me sir?! Call me James...

Andy: Sorry..anyway..i thought the screws in here called us by our second names, so why are you calling me Andy all of a sudden?!

James: I don't know..i spose i don't believe in calling prisoners by their second names..

Andy: Oh right..

(There's a pause)

Andy: Anyway what are you doing here?

(James sits next to Andy)

James: I just wanted to see how you were..after all, i am your personal officer...

Andy: Well i spose i have to appreciate the time you have given up to see me..

James: This is a job Andy..i haven't really given up any of my time...

(There's an uneasy pause)

Andy: I have decided to take your advice by the way...you know..not show my vulnerability and act all tough and all that.

James: Good...i'm glad.

(James smiles at Andy. Andy smiles back)

James: And you will tell me if anyone or anything is bothering you?

Andy: Of course i would...i am beginning to trust you, you know..and i haven't really trusted anybody in my life because they always throw it back in my face or betray me...

James: What about your parents Andy? Don't you trust them!?

Andy: My mum died..

James: I'm sorry to hear that..

Andy: What's the point in you saying sorry!? Loads of people have said it a billion times to me and it doesn't make a difference...sorry won't bring my mum back!

James: What about your father?

Andy: I hate my father! :angry:

James: Why? Why do you hate him?!

Andy: Because he's the reason why i am in here...

James: What!? :eek:

Andy: My father's the paedophile..not me!

James: Look...you can't blame what you did on your father..

Andy: That's what everyone said before i ended up here! They didn't believe me..so why the hell would you?! My family didn't believe me, the judge didn't believe me and the jury didn't but now you don't either! :angry:

James: Hey look! I haven't heard the full story!

Andy: Well everybody else did!

James: Look..just tell me what happened!

Andy: Why? What's the point?! What am i going to gain?!

James: Trust...

Scene 5- Jonathan Jones House- Evening

(Jonathan Jones has just arrived home after a long day at Sunnyville Prison. He opens the door to see his wife standing in the hallway..crying her eyes out)

Jonathan: What the bloody hell is wrong with you?!

(Jonathan tries to comfort his wife but she pulls away from him. She begins to shout at his face)

Zoe: Get out of this house!...Now!

Jonathan: What?! Why!? What's brought this on?!

Zoe: I can't bear to see what i did to you...i didn't mean to punch you...you don't deserve me!

Jonathan: I knew it was a mistake Zo! Please! We're married..i will give you a second chance!

Zoe: Another chance?! You've gave me loads of chances and i have blew them all...

Jonathan: I love you Zoe..if you beat me or not...i still love you! I wouldn't be able to cope without you!

Zoe: Well you will have to cope without me!

Jonathan: But Zo!

(Zoe heads upstairs. Jonathan follows her)

Zoe: Look..i've already packed your things for you...it's the least i could do..

Jonathan: The least you could do is let me stay!

Zoe: This is my house Jonathan! I call the shots...now get out! I can't bear to see what i have done to you!

Jonathan: I love you Zoe...so i am not leaving!

Zoe: You bloody well are!

(Zoe pushes past Jonathan and heads downstairs. She opens the front door to let Jonathan out but Jonathan is still at the top of the stairs with his suitcase)

Zoe: I've called your mother and told her that we had problems so you have a place to stay!

(Jonathan starts to cry..begging at the same time)

Jonathan: Please Zo! Please! Let me stay...your temper just gets the better of you sometimes...that's all..

Zoe: I feel guilty over what i've done! I am going to classes to sort my temper out..

Jonathan: Promise to take me back once you've sorted your temper out! Promise me!

Zoe: You know i don't do promises Jonathan!

(Jonathan heads down the stairs and out the front door with his suitcase in tow. Zoe slams the front door behind him)

(Jonathan breaks down into tears on the doorstep..while inside Zoe breaks down in tears against the front door)

This is fantastic stuff. So realistic, and becoming addictive reading!

Scene 6- Russ/Johnny's Prison Cell- Evening

(Lock up has just ended and Russ and Johnny are lying on their bunks in their prison cell)

Johnny: So...thought anymore about my offer?

Russ: I'm gonna tell you straight Allen...i don't want to be in your little 'gang'...got it?!

Johnny: I'm not trying to build a gang Carter..i am just trying to make friends!

Russ: More like enemies...

Johnny: Me and Gallagher got off on the wrong foot...it's understandable...i mean we are both tough, strong men who like to rule the roost.

Russ: Rule the roost?! Don't tell me you want to rule this prison..i told you, Gallagher's in charge!

Johnny: When he comes back from the block which will be anytime soon..he won't be ruling this prison for much longer..

Russ: You sound pretty sure..

Johnny: Gallagher has met his match! If i could choose, i would choose to get along with Gallagher.. i mean we have a lot in common, we're both inside for murder...but it seems he's not interested...

Russ: No he's not interested!

Johnny: Well i don't know what to do, or how to persaude you!

Russ: Maybe you should just give up!

Johnny: Remember i threatened you the other night Carter!

(Johnny gets up closer to Russ)

Johnny: I'm not afraid to carry out threats..i chopped somebody's fingers off once because they didn't follow orders..do you want 5 fingers left Russ, or would you like to keep the 10 fingers you have already?!

(Russ lets out a scared gulp)

Russ: Ok! I will do it...i will become a part of your alliance!

Johnny: Not so fast!...you have to prove that your tough enough to join my alliance first!

Russ: What do i have to do?

Johnny: Pick a fight and win it!

(Johnny climbs back up to his bunk)

Johnny: Night, night Carter! :D

(Johnny smiles as he lays in his bunk)

This is a real breath of fresh air im loving evrey minute of it and adding Johnny Allen to the mix is just great. Hey maybe you could have Exeters Shawn Scotsman as he has just been sent down.

Scene 7- Tom/Max's Prison Cell- Night

(We can hear faint shouting in the background as prisoners are shouting from their cells to other prisoners. Some are hurling abuse, while others are saying goodnight)

(Tom and Max are laying on their bunks. Tom is looking increasingly frustrated, while Max is thinking. Suddenly Tom gets up from his bunk and violently kicks the cell door)

Tom: I am tired of this *******!

Max: Hey! That was uncalled for! Do you wanna be on report?!

Tom: Christ Max, everytime you speak..your turning more into a screw than a prisoner!

Max: Well kicking the cell door won't do you any favours! All it will do is give you a bad foot..it won't give you a ticket out of here!

(Tom's eyes suddenly light up)

Tom: A ticket out of here! That's it! I am going to make an escape plan..i am going to escape from this dump!

Max: Are you out of your mind!? There's no way you can escape from this place! Anyway what's the point?! We've only got 2 years left on our sentence....what's the point of you escaping and getting caught!? and having more days or months added onto your sentence?! Just think about it!

(Tom ponders over what Max just said)

Episode 3

Scene 1- B Wing Office- Morning

(Jonathan Jones enters B Wing Office for the morning's briefing)

Jonathan: Good morning.

Charlotte: I'm sorry to say sir but you look shattered!

Megan: A night on the tiles was it?

Jonathan: We've not come here to discuss my personal life!...i just feel rotten that's all...

Charlotte: It might have been something that you've eaten...you have to be careful nowadays! There was a documentary on it the other night...it showed restaurants and what they put it in your food! It was absolutely disgusting..we don't have a clue what they put in our food anymore! It's a disgrace!

Jonathan: Cut the speech Charlotte! I don't give a damn..i came here to do a briefing..not to ask your opinion on every side of life!

(Charlotte shuts up)

Jonathan: Right today...it's gonna be quite busy..for a start Dean Gallagher is coming back on B Wing after his spell down the block!

Reese: Are you sure he's learnt his lesson sir?! He's only been down the block for just a week!

Jonathan: Well i said he would be down the block for a week in the first place..i make my choice and stick with it!

(There's a pause)

Jonathan: Also this afternoon..it's visiting and Terry Hawker is having a private visit with his wife..she's bringing their son along..he's just over a week old...so i think a private room for them to visit in will be a safer bet!

(There's another pause)

Jonathan: Right that's it..now, chop chop!

(All the POs leave the office to start unlock)

Scene 2- Prison Canteen- Morning

(It's breakfast on B Wing and Johnny decides to sit next to Russ)

Johnny: Hi Carter..you look lonely..

Russ: For god sake Allen! Can't you just leave me alone?! Your like my shadow!

Johnny: I am just letting you know the score that's all..if you want to build an alliance with me..

(Russ interrupts)

Russ: It's the other way round! You want to build an alliance with me!

Johnny: Stop trying to be smart Carter..it don't suit you..the bottom line is we're building an alliance and if you want to be a part of that, you gotta prove yourself!

Russ: By having a fight?

Johnny: Yeah, you've got to pick a fight with someone today, an inmate..and this is something that will help you along your way...

(Johnny passes a kitchen knife to Russ from under the table)

Russ: ******* Allen! You could have got caught passing that to me! Where the bloody hell did you get the knife from anyway?

Johnny: Where do you think?! It was the prison kitchen, you muppet! There's such easy access in this place that it's unbelievable!

Russ: Well i don't want to do too much damage, just cause a few bruises..make sure they get a beating..i didn't think a kitchen knife would be involved!

Johnny: Oh stop being a poof Carter! If you don't use that knife, our alliance will be over before it's even begun and let's face it, Gallagher's out of the picture so you won't have any friends at all! Oh how will you survive?! :rolleyes:

(Johnny cackles with laughter as he leaves Russ's table. Russ suddenly peers over where a PO is unlocking a prison gate for an inmate- it's Dean Gallagher!)

Russ: Oh crikey! Gallagher's back! I think i could now use this knife to my advantage!

(Russ laughs as he strokes the knife which is inside his pocket)

Scene 3- Andy Diego's Prison Cell- Afternoon

(James enters Andy's cell)

James: I want you to tell me Andy!

Andy: Tell you what?

James: More about you and why you're in here..

Andy: I thought you didn't believe me! The bottom line is, i'm innocent and i shouldn't be in here!

(James sits down next to Andy fixed on what he has to say)

Andy: I'm not sure if i should be telling you this, your a screw..

James: Yeah..so i might be able to do something about it! I knew you weren't a paedophile, you don't seem the type!

Andy: I don't know why i should be telling you this..i just feel that i have to get this out of my system!

James: Spit it out Andy..i promise you that i won't say a word..to no one!

Andy: My father's the paedophile! He framed me!

(James shouts)

James: Bloody hell! :eek:

Andy: Keep your voice down! I don't want no one hearing this!

James: Why not?! Your innocent! Don't you want to tell the whole prison that!?

Andy: These lot won't believe me! Every week someone comes in here claiming their innocent and every inmate takes it with a pinch of salt! So why would they believe me?! And i am down for paedophilia so i won't rate too highly either!

(James sighs)

Andy: See James..i've thought this through!

James: I know..i can tell..it's just wrong! An innocent man going down, it's plain wrong!

Andy: It's quite surprising actually..your the first person to believe me in all of this and straight away too..i didn't have to prove anything to you...for all you know, i could be telling you a load of bull..

(James interrupts)

James: Yeah i get the picture..i just trust you Andy that's all..your not like any of the other inmates in here....anyway why and how did your father frame you?

Andy: My mother died when i was 14..she was diagnosed with cancer..my father blamed me when she died...and he wanted revenge...so he framed me for this crime! He bloody framed me!

(Andy bursts into tears but he manages to carry on speaking. James wants to comfort him)

Andy: He blamed me because i used to smoke...in front of him and mum...she could of got the cancer because of inhaling my smoke! I let my mum down..i let everyone down so in a way i do deserve 12 years in this place!

James: No you don't! You don't deserve this, you've done nothing wrong!

Andy: You don't know nothing about me James!

(Andy stands up and wipes the tears from his eyes)

Andy: Every night after mum died...my father used to come up to my bedroom and he branded me a murderer...and he was right, that word is stuck in my memory, what he told me..it was all true..i murdered my mum!

James: He was twisting things Andy..trying to make you feel guilty! That's all!

Andy: You don't bloody know anything!

(Andy tries to hide the tears from his eyes..but the tears overcome him. He heads to the cell door to leave but James stops him and turns him round)

James: I'm gonna make sure your proved innocent!

(James has tears in his eyes)

Andy: Thank you.

(Andy smiles as tears run down his face)

Scene 4- Prison Visiting Room- Afternoon

(Terry follows PO Charlotte to the private visiting room where he is visiting his wife and his new born child. Charlotte and Terry arrive outside the private visiting room)

Charlotte: Right..your wife is inside..you have 15 minutes..but don't try anything stupid..just because it's a private visit doesn't mean you won't be kept under watch..i will be standing outside this door at all times! Now go on hop it!

(Terry enters the visiting room as Charlotte stays outside guarding the door)

Terry: Debra?

(Terry looks surprised. He sits down. Debra has an angry look on her face. She is slumped in her chair on the opposite side of the room but there is no baby to be seen)

Debra: Terry! You wanted to visit me right?

Terry: Yeah..that's why i'm here...where's my son?

Debra: Your son?.. As far as i'm concerned you don't have a son! Now come on spit it out..what do you want to say?! You were the one who wanted to visit me!

(Terry looks tearful)

Terry: I wanted to see my son...

Debra: Well he's not here!

Terry: Why didn't you tell me you were carrying my child?! Why didn't you visit me? I phoned you from the prison...

Debra: I didn't wanna visit you..you weren't worth it! And...well, i hung up when you tried ringing me....

Terry: Didn't you care that you were carrying my child?!

Debra: I couldn't give a damn Terry! The day you came in here, our marriage was over! You betrayed me! You brought drugs into our own home..i could have gone down with you! You b******!

Terry: So you thought i didn't deserve to know about my very own child?!

Debra: He's my child too Terry! Of course you didn't deserve to know, i was quite surprised you were expecting to see your child here..this place is a dump..why would i want my baby to experience this place?! Any mother would be mad to bring their kids here!

Terry: I just want to see my child! Please!

Debra: No! Your a druggie Terry...your a user! The less my child knows about his father, the better! You'll never get to see your child...i can bank on it!

Terry: I will fight custody as soon as i can get out of here!

Debra: Don't make me laugh..you think they will give custody to you, a druggie!

Terry: An ex- druggie!

Debra: It still don't make a difference...bye Terry!

(Debra heads for the door)

Terry: I will do whatever it takes to get access!

(Debra laughs as she leaves the private visiting room)

Davey you know I am a massive devon seas fan right!? well I have to say I like this as much or if not more already...this is so good I mean that 100%. its seems so realistic it really puts my fiction to shame I mean it davey this is a top quality Fiction and If im honest I think this is better than hinston high (which I also liked) this really does deserve 10/10.

I think maybe you could introduce Jamie (from mine) as a character because I cant use him in my soap as I am overloaded on characters (and hes already in prison)so feel free to use him if you want to.

but even if you dont I am so impressed with this...it is fantastic

Scene 5- Dean's Prison Cell- Afternoon

(All the inmates are back on B Wing after visiting. It's unlock and Dean pulls Russ into his prison cell)

Dean: Right Carter! I wanna know what's been happening here while i've been down the block..anything i should know about?!

Russ: Yeah Gallagher..there is something you should know about! Allen thinks he's in charge of this wing!

Dean: What?! Are you 'avin me on!? An old grandad..in charge of this wing?! He wouldn't be able to control the prisoners..put them in their place!

Russ: Well he seems pretty determined to me...he wants to get you out of the way Gallagher, after you fought with him, he didn't like it one bit..that's why he gave me this knife that he smuggled from the kitchen!

(Russ pulls out the knife that he is hiding in his pocket)

Dean: *******! Bloody hell! This don't explain anything!

Russ: It does..he thought he could get me on side while you were down the block...he enlisted my help to get rid of you...he wanted me to do his dirty work for him..he gave me this knife and he told me to stab you to death in your cell and get rid of your body!

Dean: Christ! He's a bloody nutter! He wanted you to kill me...it was like he hired a hitman..well i am gonna show Allen..he can't get rid of me that easily! The b******!

Russ: Don't worry..i have a plan of my own!

(Russ leaves Dean's cell. The alarm goes- it's lock up for the afternoon)

Scene 6- Tom/Max's Prison Cell- Afternoon

(It's lock up for the afternoon and Tom and Max are in their prison cell. Max is reading a book when Tom suddenly speaks)

Tom: I've thought of it!

Max: Thought of what exactly?!

Tom: How to escape from this place...it's incredibly simple!

Max: Can you just drop the subject of escaping Tom?! You'll never get out of here....not in a million years!

Tom: And how do you know?!

Max: You'll get caught Tom! Think about it...this place is too secure..there's officers everywhere...there is no way you can escape...absolutely no way!

Tom: But it's not impossible is it?!

Max: What's the point though Tom?! You'll have a few more years added onto your sentence and you will still be in this place when we were meant to be out by that time...and even if you do succeed..the police will track you down on the outside!

Tom: It's not like we're a danger to the public though is it Max?! We're in here for burglary not for being two axe murderers!

Max: So! You've still commited a crime..they will still be after you!

Tom: So you won't be coming with me then!?

Max: You actually thought i might consider escaping with you?! Wake up Tom...come back to reality! Be realistic...just for once! :rolleyes:

(There's a pause)

Tom: I'm gonna get out of here Max by the end of the week...and i don't care what you say! I've got a plan an' all..

Max: I give up with you Tom! You won't obviously listen..i just don't want too see a best mate be sent down for a few more years for an attempt to escape...

Tom: Just listen to the plan Max! I need your help..i'm gonna start a riot!

Max: What?! :eek: There is no bloody way i'm helping you out mate! Your on your own!

Tom: You don't have to escape..you just gotta help me start a riot that's all...no big deal...do it for me Max! Do it for a best mate!

(Max ponders on what Tom just said...)

Scene 7- B Wing- Afternoon

(Chris Barker and Harry Dobson have been let out of their cells to prepare tea for the inmates. They get to the prison kitchen and find a knife is missing...)

Chris: *******!

Harry: What is it Barker?

Chris: This must be some kind of joke...

Harry: Sorry i've lost you? Please explain...

(Chris stutters nervously)

Chris: The..the..the knife...

Harry: The knife?

(Harry looks up to discover the knife that belongs to the prison kitchen is missing)

Harry: Christ! Did you take it Barker for some kind of joke?

Chris: For goodness sake! No i wouldn't! I was gonna ask you the same question!

Harry: We've gotta let one of the screws know about this, someone could be in serious danger!

Chris: How could they smuggle the knife out of the kitchen!?

Harry: They must have been incredibly clever!

Chris: They could use it for other intentions though Dobson..not just stabbing someone with it!

(Harry gives Chris an awkward look)

Chris: Well that's what you were thinking...wasn't it?!

(PO Reese suddenly enters the kitchen)

Reese: Come on we ain't got all day...your standing about here like a pair of muppets! Get preparing the food!

Chris: The knife we use to prepare the food with is gone....

(Reese looks up to see the knife missing)

Reese: Christ Almighty! :eek: Is this some sick joke your both playing?!

Harry: We would never do such a thing sir...we haven't got it..obviously someone smuggled the knife out!

Reese: Oh *******! This is all we need! An inmate has got a knife...god knows what's gonna happen! We'll have to put this wing on red alert! You two back to your cell!

(Reese escorts Harry and Chris back to their cell. As they are walking, they are talking about the missing knife. They go past Johnny and Russ's cell and Russ hears wind of Reese talking about the missing knife along with Harry and Chris)

Reese: I wouldn't panic...the missing knife will soon be found before any harm is caused..i'm sure of it...whoever took this knife is incredibly stupid because they will be the one in deep trouble!

(Russ hears this and panics. He gets the knife out of his pocket and approaches Johnny with a deranged look on his face)

Russ: You thought you could split me and Gallagher's alliance to shreds! You b******!!

Johnny: Christ! What the bloody hell!?

(Johnny sees the knife and tries to avoid it and take it off Russ but Russ overstrains him and plunges the knife into his stomach. Johnny lets out a horrifying yelp as Russ lets the knife go. He's in a panic...he stands there helpless as he watches Johnny fall to the floor with the knife in his stomach...his face going pale and blood pouring from his stomach....)

Episode 4

Scene 1- B Wing- Afternoon

(Johnny sees the knife and tries to avoid it and take it off Russ but Russ overstrains him and plunges the knife into his stomach. Johnny lets out a horrifying yelp as Russ lets the knife go. He's in a panic...he stands there helpless as he watches Johnny fall to the floor with the knife in his stomach...his face going pale and blood pouring from his stomach....)

(Johnny lets out a scream as he hits the floor and becomes unconscious. Reese hears as he locks Harry and Chris in their cell)

Reese: *******! What the bloody hell was that?!

(Megan, Mike and James all come running out of the office)

Megan: We just heard a scream from the office!

Mike: Where the bloody hell was it coming from?!

Reese: Cell 4...Russ and Johnny's cell...

Mike: Well come on quick! We need to get in that cell and take action...

Megan: Oh i bet it's nothing..they're just messing about...you know what men are like?! :rolleyes:

Reese: This is serious Megan! A knife has dissapeared from the prison kitchen!

(Megan, Mike and James's eyes light up)

Mike: Bloody hell! :eek: We could have a dangerous situation on our hands! We need to get into Russ and Johnny's cell now! Someone could be seriously hurt!

James: I'll let the governor know what's happened!

(James dashes off as the rest of the POs rush to Cell 4)

Scene 2- Wing Governor's Office- Afternoon

(Jonathan Jones is looking over some paperwork on his desk when James rushes in the room panting for breath)

James: Sir!

(James struggles for breath)

Jonathan: It bloody sounds like your having a heart attack! What's wrong? What's happened?!

(Jonathan's face turns to concern)

James: We think something major has happened on B Wing...

Jonathan: You "think"?! It's either a yes or a no James!

James: Yes something bad has happened...we suspect it has anyway...a knife has gone missing from the prison kitchen and we've heard a scream from Cell 4!

Jonathan: Cell 4?!

(Jonathan's face turns from confusion to worry)

Jonathan: Christ almighty! That's Russ and Johnny's cell! Something may have happened!

James: The other officers are trying to get into their cell as we speak! We need you over there now sir!

Jonathan: Come on then, let's go..i pray this situation won't get out of hand!

(Jonathan speeds off from his office with James following)

Scene 3- Russ/Johnny's Cell- Afternoon

(PO Reese begins to talk into Johnny and Russ's cell)

Reese: Hello..Russ? Johnny? Is everything all right in there? We heard screaming!

Megan: Stop hanging about and open the bloody door!

(Megan barges past Reese and opens the cell door. They look in too see Johnny lying unconscious on the floor with a knife stuck in his stomach with blood pouring from his body. They see Russ standing there staring at the blood as it spreads around his body. Russ has a deranged but scared look on his face. The officers look on horrified at the gritty sight)

Russ: I'm i'm..i'm sorry! He was gonna split me and Dean up forever!

(Russ starts to cry and falls down onto his knees. He is in floods of tears)

Mike: Bloody hell! :eek:

(As Mike says these words, Jonathan rushes by their side followed by James)

Jonathan: Oh god! How could anyone let this happen?! This situation is down to one of you!

(Jonathan points at all the officers with an angry look on his face. He then looks at Russ who is crying by Johnny's body)

Jonathan: Don't tell me Russ did this?!

Reese: He did do this...

(Jonathan looks at Russ, dissapointed)

Jonathan: Put Russ down the block James!

(James grabs hold of Russ. Russ stares at Johnny's unconscious body as he is escorted out of the cell. As he leaves, Jonathan stares into Russ)

Jonathan: How could you do this Russ?! Why the bloody hell did you do it?!

(Russ stutters but he is unable to say anything)

Jonathan: Argh..i just can't be bothered to hear your excuses Carter!

(Jonathan turns to James)

Jonathan: Get him out of my sight!

(James escorts Russ down the block)

Megan: I've alerted the hospital wing sir...

Jonathan: Good..quick-thinking can go a long way...i can't believe this happened! How did Carter get access to the knife?! One of the officers on B Wing shouldn't be in the job and are clearly unreliable!

(As Jonathan said this, Mike rushed to Johnny's body)

Mike: Allen is still breathing!

Jonathan: Well let's hope he survives this...i don't want a murder on my hands...questions will be asked, i will be out of my bloody job!

(Jonathan looks on angrily)

Scene 4- Dean's Prison Cell- Evening

(Dean is shouting at Harry and Chris from his prison cell and Harry and Chris are shouting back)

Dean: What the bloody hell's going on?! Dobson and Barker, you know something but your not bloody telling me!

Chris: The knife from the prison kitchen has dissapeared and we all heard a scream from Russ and Johnny's cell..i think it will only take one guess to know what's happened!

Dean: *******!! Why don't they just let us out?! I want to know what's going on!

(Dean starts talking to himself making himself feel even more frustrated)

Dean: Carter! You better not done anything stupid, we are an alliance, we should be working together!

(Dean starts shouting from his cell door)

Dean: Carter..i hope your ok! Allen, i will chop your nuts off if you've done anything to Russ! I bloody well mean it!

(Dean steps away from the door. He lies on his bunk, clearly frustrated)

(We cut to outside Dean's cell where doctors are dragging Johnny out of his cell. He is still unconscious and is put on a stretcher. We see a pool of blood in the cell. Jonathan walks into the cell and sees his reflection in the pool of blood)

Jonathan: I will have a lot of questions to answer over this...

Scene 5- Prison Governor's Office- Evening

(Jonathan Jones enters Prison Governor, Charlie Henwright's office. He takes a seat opposite his desk. Charlie is sitting opposite him clearly frustrated and angry)

Jonathan: Sir...

Charlie: Jonathan...we haven't had one of our chats for quite some time...

Jonathan: No we haven't...

(Jonathan is looking increasingly uncomfortable)

Charlie: You know why your here Jonathan...the stabbing incident with Johnny Allen...i dare say you know that this is a serious matter!

Jonathan: I've been in the job long enough sir to know that what happened today is very serious!

Charlie: There'll be unanswered questions, raised eyebrows over what happened today....i can guarantee that many of the questions will be aimed at you...

Jonathan: I realise this sir...and i know that what happened today was a disgrace and one of my officers was very unreliable...

Charlie: It's your job to control B Wing Jonathan...and today, we can clearly say that you failed to keep B Wing under control...

Jonathan: The blame shouldn't just be on me sir..one of my officers were unreliable..one of them didn't supervise the kitchen properly, if they did supervise properly...none of the inmates wouldn't have been able to smuggle the knife out!

Charlie: You should supervise B Wing properly Jonathan!

(Jonathan loses his temper)

Jonathan: And you should supervise this prison properly!

Charlie: The events of today shouldn't have happened!

Jonathan: Don't you think i know that?!

Charlie: Don't pin the blame of today on your officers, they're experienced, they know what they're doing!

Jonathan: And don't pin the blame on me! I'm experienced and i know what i'm doing! We don't know who was responsible for today!

Charlie: But someone will get the blame! Someone will be the scapegoat..watch your back Jonathan!

Jonathan: I've been in this job for years..i know what i'm doing...

Charlie: Just don't lose your touch..

(Jonathan leaves the prison governor's office)

Scene 6- Russ's Cell Down The Block- Evening

(Jonathan Jones enters Russ's cell down the block. Russ is sitting on his bunk crying and looking a mess)

Jonathan: How could you do it Russ?! I thought you never had it in you!

Russ: If you came down here to give me a lecture, i don't wanna hear it! Just leave!

Jonathan: You deserve a lecture..you've put another inmate's life in danger! Johnny Allen could die from the stab wound you gave him! Do you know how serious that is?!

Russ: Of course i know how bloody serious it is! Allen was gonna split me and Gallagher up, i couldn't let him do that!

Jonathan: So you just thought you would stab him?! :rolleyes:

Russ: I just needed to get rid of him..i paniced, i didn't know what else to do, believe me, just believe me!

(Russ cries as Jonathan looks on in disgust)

Jonathan: I will never believe you again Carter, you disgust me! You could face another 10 years in this place for attempted murder! Or if Allen dies, you will rot in this place! Rot! And no one will be able to do anything about it!

(Jonathan turns away as Russ is now on his knees, on the floor crying..tears draining from his face)

Jonathan: Kiss goodbye to a life on the outside!

(Jonathan slams the cell door in Russ's face. Russ starts crying again. He falls to his knees)

(We cut back to Russ's cell a few moments later where he is tying his bedclothes from his bunk around his neck. He pulls it round his neck and ties it. He then pulls it and lets out a yelp. He lets go. His eyes bulge and all the blood drains from his face...soon enough he is unable to breathe, his head falls to the floor. Russ is dead)

Episode 5

Scene 1- B Wing Office- Morning

(Jonathan Jones walks into B Wing Office to do the morning's briefing. The prison officers are all sitting down ready to listen intently)

Jonathan: Morning...

POs: Morning sir..

Jonathan: Right first of all i have some good news..doctors have said that Johnny Allen will make a full recovery after Russ Carter stabbed him..so he should be back on B Wing next week...

Charlotte: You call that good news?! I can think of better news than that!

Jonathan: Well i personally think it's good news and i am sure the majority of my officers think that too...we're here for the prisoners welfare!

Charlotte: We're here to teach an inmates a lesson....not give them a holiday!

Jonathan: Ok..moving on...we have a new inmate arriving today called Dennis Johnson..he is serving a year for shoplifting...encourage him to make friends..according to his file...

(Jonathan picks up Dennis's file and starts reading aloud)

Jonathan: "The only friend he has is himself"...so hopefully with the help of you lot he will become more sociable..

Charlotte: Sorry to butt in but this isn't a social club..it's in fact a prison! We shouldn't be encouraging him to make friends..what will that be saying to the media..Sunnyville Prison will be given a bad reputation!

Jonathan: That's something i should be worrying about Charlotte...but thanks for showing some concern... for once! :rolleyes:

Jonathan: And finally....Megan..

Megan: Yes sir?

Jonathan: You are Russ Carter's personal officer...i want you to visit him down the block today..in fact now during unlock...ask him why he stabbed Johnny Allen..get some information from him..then come to my office and tell me your opinion on the issue of considering Carter's move back to B Wing..

Charlotte: Carter will be moving back to B Wing already! He nearly murdered a fellow inmate!

Jonathan: If he didn't get hold of a knife, it would have never happened..one of us was responsible for Johnny Allen's stabbing...

Charlotte: Don't be so bloody ridiculous!

Jonathan: I am being bloody serious!

Jonathan: Right go and unlock and Megan visit Russ Carter now...

Megan: Yes sir..

(All the POs leave B Wing Office to unlock as Megan heads down the block to visit Russ Carter...)

(Unlock is in progress and Tom and Max's cell has just been unlocked. They are preparing their wash kit ready for their morning's wash)

Max: So it's today right?!

Max: I can't believe i bloody agreed to this..too start a bloody riot!

Tom: Your doing it for a mate Max! This place is a ***********! I need to get out..i just can't believe your not coming with me..i mean your my best mate and all that..we've been best mates since we started going to school.

Max: I will say it now and i will say it again...escaping isn't worth it! We will be out before long! Free again..free to pursue what we want!

Tom: Just another 4 years to go! :rolleyes:

Max: It will be another few more years added onto that if you get caught escaping! We're best mates Tom! If i can get through this, you can too!

Tom: I can't...

Max: Your just being selfish Tom! You will be escaping and leaving your best mate in here!

Tom: You made the decision not to escape with me and anyway i thought you liked it here...it's not too late to change your mind you know?!

(Terry, Harry and Chris suddenly pop their heads round the door)

Terry: What's this about an escape plan?!

(Tom and Max both let out a huff)

Tom: Fine..i spose you can be in on it...i want to escape from this place and it's happening today..me..with the help of Max will be starting a full blown riot!

Terry: Christ! Can we be in on this?!

Chris: We will escape with you!

Max: I'm staying put! Tom's the one who wants to escape this dump!

Chris: Don't blame him!

Terry: Well i'm not too keen on escaping...

Harry: Neither am i..

Chris: What about your kid Terry?! Your wife won't allow you access to him when you get out and when you fight it in the courts..the chances of you winning are slim because of your criminal record and all that..

Terry: And what are you trying to say Barker?

Chris: This is the perfect opportunity..you can escape with Tom...you can see your kid if you escape from here!

(Terry's eyes light up)

Terry: Your bloody well right! If i escape to the outside..i can go and see my kid...my son!

Tom: Well who's escaping altogether?!

Chris: I am gonna stay here with Harry.. Terry deserves to escape from this place with Tom..he has a son on the outside which his wife won't allow access too!

Tom: Ok...well Chris and Harry your still involved in this coz you know about it now...your gonna help me start a riot...your going to start on each other!

Harry: Ok..

Tom: Then Chris will start on another inmate..then it's bound to kick off...you know what the prisoners are like in here! There all raring for a fight!

Terry: And where and how are we meant to escape exactly?

Tom: Well..i've planned this out very carefully..while the riot and fight is taking place..the screws will be distracted trying to stop the fight..that's when Max will dive for the keys attached to the screws and carefully take them off without the screws realising! Max will then pass the keys to me. The keys unlock every access to the prison..me and Terry can then get out! A piece of p***!

Max: I am going for the keys?!

Tom: Yeah you are...do it for me mate!

(Tom pats Max on the back)

Chris: When is all this taking place?

Tom: Breakfast! Me and Terry will be long gone from this dump by lunchtime! :cool:

Scene 3- Russ's Cell Down The Block- Morning

(Megan unlocks Russ's cell. She enters and sees Russ's dead body on the floor with his bedclothing tied round his neck. She sees his eyes bulging and his face pale. Her face turns to shock and she screams in horror)

Scene 4- Andy Diego's Prison Cell- Morning

(PO James walks past Andy's prison cell which is open following wash time..Andy jumps up and stops James)

Andy: James...wait!

(James turns to face Andy)

James: Good morning Andy....everything ok?

Andy: Can i talk to you in my cell?

(James hesitates for a second)

James: Umm..ok sure..

(James enters Andy's cell. Andy closes the cell door)

James: What is it Andy? Anything the matter?

Andy: I just want to say...well..thank you really...

James: I don't understand...what have i done?!

Andy: You've believed in me...you've listened to what i have had to say...you've treated me with respect..

James: Well that's what it is all about in this job...caring for the prisoners welfare..listening to what they have to say...

Andy: Other screws don't see it that way..

James: Sod the other screws...it's my opinion..if i ran this place, i would let all the inmates have their say!

Andy: You never know you might get promoted as wing governor one day!

James: I have a long way too go...anyway enough about me ey!

(James is about to leave but he turns to Andy)

James: I will prove you innocent you know...i will prove that your father is the paedophile and not you!

Andy: Fat chance of that happening! I mean let's face it...the police and the judge didn't believe me when i said i wasn't a paedophile and my father framed me...so why would they believe me now?!

(Andy sits on his bunk and starts sobbing into his hands. James sits by him to comfort him)

James: Ey! Ey! There's no need for the negative attitude!

(James comforts Andy. Andy turns to James and kisses him. James responds and they share passionate kiss)

Scene 5- Prison Canteen- Morning

(It's breakfast and Tom and Max are sitting down with Terry sitting next to them. Harry and Chris have just finished serving everyone for breakfast. Tom winks at them...they know they have to start fighting and start the riot)

Chris: Why the hell did you pour those beans over me Dobson?! Wanna fight do you?!

(Harry pours beans all over Chris's lap)

(Harry stops for a second unable to speak. Chris goes up to his ear and whispers to him)

Chris: Come on, what's got into you?! We gotta make this look convincing!

(Harry suddenly throws a punch at Chris and Chris throws one back)

Reese: Oi! You two! Stop the fighting...

(Reese and Charlotte rush to the commotion. Charlotte grabs hold of Chris and tries to stop him fighting with Harry. At this time, Max unhooks the prison keys from Charlotte's pocket and passes them to Tom and Terry who are ready to escape)

(As Tom and Terry unlock the prison gate, all the inmates are now circling Chris and Harry's fight. Reese and Charlotte are unable to restrain them both. All the inmates are now chanting as Chris and Harry continue to punch each other)

All: Fight! Fight! Fight!

(Terry and Tom have unlocked the prison gate and are now running down the corridor)

Terry: Yes, we've done it!

Tom: Hold your horses, we're not out of this dump yet!

(Tom stares at the keys with satisfaction)

Tom: These keys have access to everywhere around the prison!

Terry: Yeah well...why would we wanna explore this dump?! I want to get out of here as soon as possible! See my son and all that...

Tom: And don't worry your wish will be granted...

Terry: Don't you feel guilty for leaving your best mate behind?

Tom: He wanted to stay here...it was his choice!

(There's a pause)

Tom: Anyway why are we hanging about here?! We don't wanna get caught now do we?!

(Tom laughs as him and Terry both run to the next prison gate)

Terry: I wouldn't have called your plan a riot though would you?! Just two poofs trying to have a proper fight!

(Terry and Tom both laugh. Suddenly they see two Prison Officers approaching)

Tom: *******!

(Terry and Tom both stop in their tracks)

Scene 6- Wing Governor's Office- Morning

(Jonathan Jones is doing some paperwork when Megan rushes into the office)

Jonathan: Megan...have you ever heard of knocking?!

Megan: Sir...we've got a serious situation on our hands...

Jonathan: For christ sake...not another one?! First Johnny Allen's stabbing now this?! Anyway, hit me with it!

Megan: Russ Carter is dead sir! He commited suicide in his cell!

Jonathan: :eek:

(Jonathan's face turns to sheer shock)

Scene 7- B Wing- Morning

(We see a new prisoner entering B Wing. He is tall and slim with glasses. He goes by the name of Dennis Johnson. He stands by the prison gate as the PO is unlocking it and tears start to roll down his cheeks)

It's the season finale...

Johnny returns to B Wing and it's not long that all the inmates hear of Russ's suicide. Dean blames the suicide on Johnny and threatens to get revenge but Johnny discovers new prisoner Dennis's secret and decides to use it to his advantage to get his revenge on Dean.

Jonathan's job is on the line..after Russ's suicide, Terry and Tom's escape and Johnny's stabbing...all in the space of 24 hours. Will he resign?

Terry and Tom have escaped but tragedy strikes...

Episode 6

Scene 1- Russ's Cell Down The Block

(Jonathan Jones and Megan are standing by Russ's prison cell as Russ's body is carried out in a bodybag)

Jonathan: I don't believe this....i just can't believe it...a stabbing and a suicide all in 24 hours! This is all i need!

Megan: Jonathan, you can't blame yourself!

Jonathan: I have too Megan! Don't you see! I am the governor of B Wing and since i've been in charge, everything's ended in chaos, i'm not cut out for the job!

Megan: Don't talk nonsense...it's good that you have faith in the inmates Jonathan, the last wing governor we had couldn't give a toss!

Jonathan: Well i guess i will have to tell the wing about Russ's suicide....i am going to call a meeting with the inmates this afternoon, make sure you Megan and the rest of the officers tell all the inmates of it, i know some of them will be sad that Russ is no longer with us...

Megan: Yes sir.

(Megan walks off as Jonathan looks into Russ's cell and brushes his hair with his hand in frustration)

Scene 2- Chris/Harry's Cell- Afternoon

(Dennis Johnson enters Chris and Harry's cell. He turns to face Reese)

Reese: Well?! What are you looking at me for?! Don't look at me as if to say this is all my fault! This is your home for the next year and you will be sharing it with these two!

(Reese pushes Dennis into the cell and locks up their cell)

Harry: Hi..i'm Harry..nice to meet you..

(Harry puts his hand out so Dennis can shake it)

Dennis: A pleasure to meet you too! But don't touch me, i am HIV Positive! :rolleyes:

Harry: Really?! Oh gosh...i'm awfully sorry to hear that!

(Chris suddenly butts into their conversation. He is lounging on a seat reading a magazine)

Chris: You can't catch HIV by touching each other you know, it's a sexually transmitted disease, so none of us will be catching it so there is nothing to worry about!

Dennis: Well everybody's attitude towards it was if i touched them, they caught it! :rolleyes: I'm glad you don't have that opinion...

Chris: What's your name?

Dennis: Dennis Johnson..yours?

Chris: Chris Barker..

Dennis: Well nice to meet you Harry and Chris...

Chris: Call us Dobson and Barker and we'll call you Johnson, it's the way things work round here!

Dennis: Ok...so who sets the rules round here then?

Harry: Dean Gallagher...i would watch it if i was you...he don't like new arrivals!

(Dennis looks terrified)

Scene 3- Outside Sunnyville Prison- Afternoon

(Tom and Terry have managed to escape from inside the prison and are now outside Sunnyville Prison)

Terry: Christ! How are we meant to get out of here now?! Passing the guards without getting caught will be impossible!

Tom: To be honest, i didn't think of getting past the guards...just getting out of the prison!

Terry: You idiot! We're gonna get caught at this rate and for what, a few minutes of fresh air! I wanted to escape to see my son!

Tom: Just calm down alright?! I will keep this under control..we just got to think quickly that's all...any suggestions?!

Terry: Not a clue!

(Tom and Terry think for a moment but there both looking anxious)

Tom: There's only one thing we can do...nick a car!

Terry: What?! Are you kidding?! We haven't even got keys to a car..we can't just smash inside the car and speed through the gates, ain't that simple!

(Tom rethinks the situation)

Tom: Which car is the wing governor's car?

(Terry points)

Terry: That red peugeout i think...

Tom: I hope your damn well right! I got another plan but there's more of a risk involved....

(Tom looks at Terry menacingly but Terry is looking more anxious than ever)

Terry: What plan? It better be good!

Tom: We nick the wing governor's keys to his car! We sneak back inside the prison and sneak into Jonathan Jones's office..we get his keys, sneak back outside, get into his car and drive out....simple!

Terry: Sounds too risky to me!

Tom: Life is full of risks! Just take a chance! It might be the only chance you to get to see your baby son!

(Terry looks at Tom knowing he is right)

Terry: Ok but we better not get caught!

(Tom smiles)

Scene 4- B Wing- Afternoon

(Jonathan Jones has called a meeting. He shouts for silence as all the inmates are standing on the netting or standing around him, chatting amongst themselves)

(Jonathan Jones suddenly shouts at the top of his voice)

Jonathan: Silence!

(Everyone quietens down)

Jonathan: I have some terrible news for you all that i am sure you all want to know...

Dean: What terrible news?

Jonathan: I know that you Dean will be very sad over this news...

Dean: Is it Russ Carter, sir?

Jonathan: Yes it has something to do with him...

Dean: Well come on then! We ain't got all day!

(The inmates all mutter in agreement)

Jonathan: I will cut down to the chase then...Russ Carter is dead!

(Everybody's faces turn to utter amazement, all the inmates are speechless, even Dean Gallagher is looking devastated)

Dean: Dead?! What the bloody hell do you mean, dead?!

Charlotte: You know, when someone's dead it means they can't breathe! :rolleyes:

Dean: This is all one big bloody joke to you ain't it!

Jonathan: We're all telling the truth Dean...he's dead...like Charlotte said, Russ can no longer breathe...

Dean: But he only got sent down the block, i don't understand! I can't understand any of this! How can he be dead?!

Johnny: By not breathing moron! Honestly, am i the only person with brains in this place?!

(We see Johnny entering B Wing, all the inmates start muttering again)

Dean: It was you wasn't it Allen!? This is all one big bloody joke to you an' all ain't it?! You killed Carter didn't you Allen?!

(Dean shouts)

Dean: B******!

Johnny: How could i have killed him if he was down the block, he's locked up 24/7, maybe he couldn't accept prison life much longer!

(Johnny laughs in Dean's face)

(Dean shouts at Johnny as he is re-entering his cell)

Dean: I'll get you Allen! When, your least expecting it!

Jonathan: Oi! Stop it Dean, these are no times to be making threats, Johnny Allen didn't kill Russ, he took his own life!

Dean: Well he took his own life because of Allen, he murdered my best mate in my eyes!

Johnny: Well maybe you need your eyes testing again Gallagher, because you clearly can't see the truth!

Dean: I wish Carter just killed you Allen!

Johnny: Well i'm not dead, your wish didn't come true, i'm afraid!

Dean: I will make sure i finish what Carter started!

(Johnny Allen shuts his cell taking in Dean's threat)

Jonathan: Ok, this meeting is over! Start lock up!

(Jonathan turns to Reese)

Jonathan: What's Allen doing back so early from the hospital wing?

Reese: The doctor said he was fine to go back on the wing..."where he belongs" quoted by the doctor himself...

Jonathan: Well i want Allen under permanent watch...i don't want another death on my hands!

Scene 5- Outside Sunnyville Prison- Afternoon

(Tom and Terry are back outside Sunnyville Prison with Jonathan Jones's car keys)

Tom: See Terry, once you put your mind to it, it's not too hard is it?!

Terry: Yeah you were right about what you said, life is full of risks!

Tom: That's the spirit Terry...we just have to be careful now..we ain't even got in the car yet and driven out...it could still be game over for us!

Terry: Yeah your right...come on, let's go!

(Terry and Tom rush to Jonathan Jones's car, open the door with his keys and get in)

Tom: Hang about..which one of us looks more like Jonathan Jones?!

Terry: For goodness sake, does it matter?!

Tom: Yeah it's a difference between a prison cell and you seeing your son!

Terry: Ok..well, to be honest, you look more like Jonathan Jones than i do!

Tom: Ok...and you will be the prison officer that i gave a lift home too..

Terry: Ok..i got your drift!

Tom: Good, come on then, let's make our escape!

(Tom starts the engine and they drive off to the gates. Terry is looking nervously in the passenger seat and so is Tom in the drivers seat but the guards let them go out)

(As they leave the prison gates and onto the road, they let out a small cheer)

Tom: We did it Terry, we're free!

Terry: Yes i can see my baby son, and nothing's stopping me!

Tom: Let's put on a bit of music to celebrate ey!?

(Tom takes his eyes off the road for a few seconds to turn on the radio...suddenly they hear a huge thud on the bonnet. Tom pulls the brakes on)

Terry: What the bloody hell was that?!

Tom: I think i know...

(Tom gets out of the car to see that he has knocked over a pedestrian)

Scene 6- Dennis/Chris/Harry's Cell- Afternoon

(All the cells have been unlocked for one hour. Some inmates are playing snooker while others are hanging around, sitting down or chatting)

(Dean enters Dennis, Chris and Harry's cell)

Dean: So who's the new arrival?

(Dennis nervously steps up to Dean)

Dennis: Me..

Dean: Oh you...and do "you" have a name?

Dennis: Yeah Dennis....

Dean: What you in for Dennis?

Dennis: Shoplifting...i'm here for a year...

(Dean laughs in Dennis's face)

Dean: What did you steal?! A packet of chewits!

Dennis: Bits and bobs really...

Dean: Well i'm gonna make sure that your stay here will be the most suffering and most horrifying ordeal you've ever put yourself in...this is just for starters...

(Dean punches Dennis to the floor. Dennis puts his hand over his face to recover from the punch. He has a nosebleed)

Dean: Enjoy your stay Dennis!

(Dean laughs as he leaves the cell. Johnny suddenly enters after Dean leaves. He helps Dennis get up from the floor)

Johnny: Are you alright?

Dennis: Not really...Mr 'Big' thought he would punch me to the floor, once he finds out i have HIV, he will be punching me even more or hopefully he might stay away from me!

Johnny: Did you say you have HIV?

Dennis: Yeah you got a problem with that!?

Johnny: No but Dean Gallagher might have a problem when he catches it!

(Johnny laughs)

Johnny: I have a plan...but the question is Dennis...will you be in on it?!

(Dennis gives Johnny a curious look)

Well that's the end of the 1st series of Bad Men..thanks to everyone who has given time to read it and comment, i really appreciate it. :) I am not yet sure if a second series will be commisioned but i will all let you know very soon.

Dont forget, Hinston High returns tomorrow for Season 2 and i will be heavily concentrating on that so that's why it may take a while until i write the second series.
