View Full Version : Ticket Touts - Dealt with the Kylie Way
I've just seen this on Radio One's website, in the news section:
Kylie steps into the online ticket tout row
The pop pixie cancels hundreds of tickets for her gigs because they were being sold on eBay at inflated prices. They'll go back on sale at the original price later.

Do you think this is a good way of dealing with ticket touts selling on ebay?
i think it's an excellent idea and fair play to kylie for doing it. it's expensive enough to go to a concert without touts making more money for themselves. isn't it strange how touts always manage to get tickets when die hard fans don't.

I can only assume that Tout are first in the queue and by in bulk.. U2 will only allow 4 tickets per person so there is very little chance of touts get so many..
Fair play to Kylie, glad not all artist are only in it for themselves and actually want their fans to enjoy themselves

a lot of bands seem to be doing this now. the usual limits are 4 or 6 per person.

yes i think it is a really good idea and other singers and groups should follow suit.
ebay should take some responsibility too and block these things when they are being sold, but i think ebay like to turn a blind eye sometimes as they will make money out of it too!!!
