View Full Version : Confirmed: HBP movie release date
Box Office Mojo is reporting that the sixth film, Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince, is set to be released on November 21st, 2008. WB has confirmed to us that this is indeed the actual release date. Let the countdown begin!
Steve Kloves will return to write the screenplay for HBP. A director has yet to be chosen. The fifth film, Order of the Phoenix, will hit theaters July 13th, 2007.
God I cant wait!
I adore the movies, the last one, was my favourite so far. i think the director took it in a whole new direction which was great.
I wonder who will direct this time?
So just one book to go - As much as i cant wait im dreading it coming to the end as we know JK is gonna kill at least one other of the main characters off. Imagine no new HP to look forward to!
I bet we have the last film quite quick - going by the way they have done it so far (and providiign it has been written!) maybe about mid 2009?

He called her a "provocateur" adding that the outing of Dumbledore was part of a liberal "indoctrination" of children.
Yes, yes it was. How dare she encourage young children to become gay? After all, it was never mentioned in any of the books that Dumbledore had a boyfriend or was gay.
Go away and come back when you've read the books love
I wonder what would have happened if the stories were about excessive alcohol consumption rather than witchcraft taught by a gay headmaster.
