Cosmic Ordering!

I was reading about Cosmic ordering the other day (as you do), and wondered what the good folk on Soap Boards thought about it, and what you would put on your shopping (wish) list for the cosmos to bring you! lol

For anyone who doesn't know about Cosmic Ordering, Ive included the following brief definition.

The Cosmic Ordering Service, the latest New Age "faith" to win celebrity endorsement from er… Noel Edmonds, has a straightforward appeal that will be familiar to anyone who has thrown a coin into a pool and paused for a few seconds of silent entreaty. It claims to grant your heart's desire.

So in a nutshell you write what you want on a piece of paper and the cosmos does the rest. Or in other words, it could be called praying to a higher being (God) for something! lol

I think that its a good thing, in that if you write down a shopping list of things you want (to achieve), then it will help focus the mind.

Though I think that you have to go out there and make things happen, rather than just writing them down and sitting down with your feet up waiting for something to happen. lol

Okay I thought I'd do an update on the ol' cosmic ordering thingy (well if its good enough for Noel!). Not that many of you peeps have bothered reading my thread (reaches for packet of kleenex balsam tissues - I find them kinder on the nose).

Well from my wish list....

One brand new shiny red and white mini cooper - er....think I'll be keeping my punto a bit longer....no mini has appeared yet.

A job promotion (with pay increase) - well I have just got a nice pay increase (the drinks are on me!!!) so that one worked!

Nigel Harman - er.....going to have to work on this one, without getting an injunction against me for stalking ol' Nige!

To travel more (North/south America) - er well I do have plans to hit Butlins next year!!! (Joking, have plans to spend next summer seeing the sights in possibly Canada/USA).

Well Im not sure if I believe in cosmic ordering, though I do like the idea of a higher power (God) being out there. I have to say when things aint going right, I do have a little word with the big fella up there....and it does make me fell better :) But maybe asking for material things is wrong.
