Governor Joy Masterton is still reeling from the shock of learning new inmate Stella is the daughter she gave up for adoption years ago. Stella is desperate to make up lost time with her mum but Joy won’t have it. She wants Stella transferred to another prison and out of her life. But Wing Governor Lou Stoke, puts a spanner in the works of the transfer. Will Joy have to confess who Stella really is?
Julie S is delighted to get a visit from her beloved son David. He has two bits of exciting news; she is going to be a grandmother and he’s getting married next week. Julie S is delighted but also disappointed as it is unlikely she and best mate Julie Johnston will be there to share his big day. But what if David and his bride were allowed to hold a wedding blessing within the walls of Larkhall? The Julies think it’s a great idea but they will need to convince Joy to allow it.
Meanwhile, it looks like there is a petty thief on G-Wing and the fingers are pointing at Stella. Both Joy and Lou step in to defend her before it turns nasty and Stella is delighted; perhaps Joy does care for her? Her opinion quickly alters when Joy drops some news which shatters Stella’s view of her for ever.
Pat Kerrigan realises that Natalie Buxton has used a child to crutch drugs into prison. Outraged Pat decides that she has to go and comes up with a plan to rid Larkhall of Natalie for ever. She enlists the two Julies to help her. On the day of the wedding blessing Pat plans to fake an escape. She plans for Natalie to find out so that she hijacks the escape for herself – thus falling into Pat’s trap.
It gets steamy between Janine Nebeski and her personal officer Donny Kimber when they use an “appointment” to get to know each other a little more intimately. Will they manage to keep their relationship under wraps?
Lou rethinks her feelings towards the dashing Doctor Rowan Dunlop and asks him on a date. It gets off to a cold start, but soon they are getting on famously. Perhaps this relationship could have a future – or will the appearance of Lou’s stripper sister cause problems?
