Hilary & Tanya's Rivalry - A deadly battle between the two women in Richard's life provided drama for months on DS, coming to the conclusion of Tanya's world falling apart with her kids and husband dying.

The Love Triangle - Patrick, Amy, Natahsa... someone was bound to get hurt...and over a few months we were guessing who Patrick's mistress was. After that it was the curisoity of whether they'd get caught and what Amy would do. One of DS finest moments.

Family Affairs - Talk about keeping it in the family - cousins Ruby and Marcus began a secret affair, this soon was ended when Sanjita revealed that Ruby was infact Iqbal's daughter... she had been having an affair with her brother in law for years, when Kash found out the family was torn apart...

Best Episode

Richard & Hilary's Wedding - The moment that fans dreaded but I enjoyed writing... gold digger Hilary finally married gullable Richard.

The warehouse explosion - In Devon Seas most dramatic and devastating scenes we saw Gregg Bryant set fire to a warehouse of flamabble gases, killing toddler twins Jessic and Jacob and leaving Gary Donagoon fighting for his life.

The ABBA karoke night - Amy announced to a packed Red Rum of Patrick and Natasha's affair - all hell broke loose, slaps and arguments were of the bucketload and the love triangle was shattered to peices.

Best Bitch

Hilary Blackstock - Wormed her way back into Richard's life and convinced him to marry her, but she's after his money and revenge on the Taylor family. Arranged the downfall of Tanya, by her getting her drunk and her kids kidnapped, resulting in the death of Gary, Jessica and Jacob Donagoon.

Luqina Javel - Luqina is insenstive and materliasitc, she has got Tom Adams under her thumb and is purely and simply a gold digger who uses sex to get what she wants. She has made Emma Andrews life a miserary on more than one ocassion and is set to marry Tom and take his fortunes.

Siobhan Burke/Emma Jones - This double crossing bitch lied her way into the Taylor family, pretending to be the daughter that Hilary had put up for adoption. She also lied about having a terminal illness in the hope of getting 1 million dollars to pay for drugs.

Best Villan

Craig Harvey - Craig has upset almost every resident in Baymoore. He was responsibnle for the deaths of Ed, Margaret, Gary, Jessica, Jacob and several others. He has used cowardly tactitcs to bring dwon the Taylor and Andrews families and is an all around nasty peice of work.

Gregg Bryant - Tanya's ex fiance appeared nice at first but we soon learnt he was an obssseive and twisted stalker. He made Tanya's life an entire misery, reducing her to a paranoid alcholic. He then kidnapped her children and set fire to them in a warehouse full of flamable gasses.

Best Hero

Gary Donagoon - Supported his greiving wife Tanya troughout her stalker ordeal and the kidnap of their children Jessica and Jacob. Was put into intensive care after bravely trying to save this children. Fell victim to Criag Harvey's revenge plot against the Taylors.

Tom Adams - Tom is a good natured man, seeing the best in his girlfriend Luqina. Altough he may be gulliable he has given her everything she could ever want, and gave her the chance to better her life. It's this that makes her plan against him all the more evil.

Nick Taylor - The calming force in the Taylor family, Nick removes himself from the plotting and the snobbery of his family and is down to earth. He loves his fiance Vicky imensly and is an all around nice guy.

Best Couple

Nick Taylor & Vicky Mansfeild - Baymoore's young sweethearts who meet in the most unsual of cirumstances. They have been trough a lot, but their love has seen them trough it all.

Patrick & Amy O Brian - The Den And Angie Watts of Baymoore, they have an intense love and hate relationship, but have provided Devon Seas with many scenes of drama. Deep down they cant live without each other and will always stay together.

Craig Harvey & Leah Kage - The nastiest pairing since Tracy and Charlie in Coronation Street. Leah finally gave into temptation with her brother in law Craig and their hatred for each other turned into a passionate affair, sealed by the pair killing Margaret Kage and framing Leah's ex Carl for the crime.

Best Newcomer

Altough Devon Seas has only been here a year, I'll make my 3 nominations from characters that joined after the inital cast that started the show.

Leah Kage - Mandy's independant and sassy sister showed up earlier this year, determined to get her sister away from Craig...she did just that... but not how she planned. She ended up having an affair with Craig and even killed her own mother!

Hilary Blackstock - She didnt come into the show until late January but she has certainly made an impact, becoming one of the show's most popular and most hated characters. The queen bee of bitches has made DS what it is this year.

Siobhan Burke/Emma Jones She's been around for all but 2 months, yet she has caused total mayhem for the Taylor family and provided fans with an explosive season finale.

Best Family

The Taylors - Devon Seas' main family providing the drama of the past season, the rich Ewing Like family are well worthy of this award.

The Andrews - Val, James and their girls are the binary opposites to the Taylors, they are down to earth and a "real" family that have stoke a cord with the fans over the past year.

The Harvey/Kages - A family under the control of bad boy Craig Harvey, threatened with domestic violence and rocked by a shocking affair. The cloest thing to the Sopranos on Soapboards!

Ed Taylor - The sacrifical lamb...the first death of the show, chased out of town by Craig Harvey, when he returned for one last time he was involved in a car chase that resulted in him driving off Baymoore Pier - drowning to his death.

Jessica and Jacob Donagoon - The conclusion to one of Devon Sea's biggest storylines sore the sad death of Tanya and Gary's baby twins as they fell victim to Gregg Bryant's warehouse explosion.

Tanya Donagoon - Left in spectualr style, after attempting to murder Craig Harvey Tanya fled Baymoore, but not before promisng Hilary revenge in the near future. She boarded a luxury helicopter and flew off to Miami.

Best Storyline:
Tomtom burns the Casino
When a bored Tomtom decided that setting fire to the Casino she was in would cheer her up, she was greatly mistaken - firstly she almost killed both herself and best mate Spider, then lost Spider's friendship after admitting it was her fault, and now she's resorting to stripping for old men as her idea of fun! Well, it's safer than starting another blaze, anyway...

Chee/Corey/Alison love triangle
Chee had her eye on Corey the very first time she saw him, and she wasn't going to let a little thing like his girlfriend get in the way - and now, after befriending both of them, she's managed to wriggle her way into Corey's bed! But Alison has yet to discover what's been going on...

Mark/Shezza
Shezza thought she was in love - but it turned out her nasty boyfriend Mark had many other girls on the run too. When Shezza found him with one of them, meaning to surprise him with an unexpected visit, it was her who got the surprise! But Mark has more tricks up his sleeve, and is not about to let this one go...

Characters are introduced, and we can already tell that there's going to be drama in Boxton Street!

Shezza wakes up
Shezza wakes up to find that she's been raped, Tomtom decides it's time for a bit of fun involving matches, and Corey catches Alison's eye for the first time

Chee gets her man
After a heated row with Alison, drunken Corey is only too happy to jump into bed with Chee while Alison sits at home trying to call him. Deciding he needs a bit of a laugh, Spider accidently wonders into the very casino where Tomtom is pulling all her clothes off!

Devious Chee obviously wants her cake iced twice every morning - when she's not out shopping with the money her gullible hubby hands over to her every time she visits him, she's trying to get her claws into her "friend" Alison's lad Corey.

Tammy "Tomtom" Jones
Snappy Tomtom's idea of fun is starting a fire in a casino that almost killed her and her best friend Spider - and when Spider refused to speak to her after she admitted it was her who started it, she ran off to another casino and pulled all her clothes off on front of a load of grubby old men - they're not even her own clothes, they're her sister Riley's! What a bitch!!!

Best Villian:
Mark Jason
Probably one of the nastiest pieces of work you could come across, Mark took advantage of Shezza - giving her drugs, turning her into a total mess and then whacking her over the head in the street.

Chee Campbell
Devious Chee obviously wants her cake iced twice every morning - when she's not out shopping with the money her gullible hubby hands over to her every time she visits him, she's trying to get her claws into her "friend" Alison's lad Corey.

Best Hero:
Jack "Spider" Spencer
Coming to Tomtom's rescue in the fire was certainly a heroic act!

Alison and Corey
What you might call "love at first sight", the two hit off immediately, and Alison hasn't been speed dating at all since. But can the happy couple survive Chee's "evil wrath"?

Tomtom and Spider
Probably finding friendship in each other's grumpiness, the two get on like brother and sister - until Tomtom started the fire... but the two certainly are a friendship made in heaven!

Shezza drinks a little too much and is "discovered" by a group of nasty men who decide she's up for anything...

EPISODE 4
Tomtom finds herself surrounded by the flames that she's caused, unable to get away. Ends with the line "The casino doesn't have windows"

Tomtom tells Spider she started the fire. The end.
