I spotted two ex-soap stars in last weeks Hollyoaks. Sam Kane (Brookside/Corrie) as a audition judge (probably the closest thing to Simon Cowell the producers could find) and Glenda Mckay (Emmerdale's Rachel Hughes) as the registrar and Max and Claire's wedding.
I thought it was a little strange to see them both in this particular soap after knowing them through their respective shows, but it was nice to see them on tv again. I did see Sam Kane recently for a charity event at The Mayflower in Southampton, but have only known Glenda for doing fitness videos as well as her role as Graham Clarke's victim in Emmerdale. Anyway, just wondered if anyone else had spotted the pair at all. And was it as much as a surprise for you as it was for me?
