Robert’s plans to frame Izzy for leaving the gas on and endangering Charlie’s life come to nought when Lyn saves her grandson and sounds the alarm. While Charlie and Izzy emerge unharmed, Lyn, Stephanie and Max rail on Izzy for her irresponsibility. Even Paul finds it hard to fathom how she managed to do something so negligent while caring for her nephew. His plan to destroy Izzy and watch Paul suffer as a result needs some rethinking.

The Kinski kids have noticed how down Susan seems of late. When Rachel and Katya come to the same conclusion that Susan would be helped if they moved back in to live with her, they put a plan into action. Wary of hurting Susan’s pride, Katya does her best to make it sound as if the move is for her benefit. Susan sees through the ruse and lets Katya know she is proud of her for what she’s doing – and no doubt her father would be as well.

Stingray isn’t thrilled by Rachel moving back onto the street. Fighting his growing feelings, he’s unable to handle seeing her in a bikini at a neighbourhood party.

Having been brought closer by Lyn’s saving of Charlie, Stephanie accepts Lyn’s advice to allow Paul to buy the rights to the baby utility belt – the ‘B.U.B.’ Lyn is certain the decision will lead to them all becoming rich.
