Girls Aloud are planning to split next year, according to a report in the News of the World today.

The newspaper claims that the pop group have decided to go their separate ways following a series of bitter rows between the girls.

"They just don't talk at all - it's over for them," a source revealed. "There's always been a rift in the band. Nadine and Cheryl don't talk, there is no communication. There's also a rift between Sarah and the others.

"Nadine has been saying that Cheryl thinks she's Victoria Beckham, especially after hanging around with Posh during the World Cup. And the other girls reckon Cheryl feels that she's above them - they don't think her heart is in the band any more."

The band have recently completed a UK sell-out tour.

Fame gets to some people. Cheryl doesnt seem to have her priorities in the right place. If i was one of her family members i wouldnt have gone to that wedding. She seemed more concered about keeping her cool amougnst her celeb friends than letting her family members enjoy them self.

This bit of news wont bother me i dont like their music anyway! lol and to be honest im not suprised

Girls Aloud deny split
(Wednesday July 12, 2006 12:03 AM)

Cheryl Tweedy has denied claims that Girls Aloud are on the brink of splitting up.

The five-strong TV pop discovery have been at the centre of speculation in recent weeks, amid claims that they are set to announce the end of the group after three albums together.

However, Tweedy, who is about to marry Arsenal and England footballer Ashley Cole, dismisses the reports in a UK tabloid this morning.

She insists Girls Aloud will begin work on their new LP, a follow-up to last year's acclaimed "Chemistry", in the coming months.

"After our tour finished we went into the studio to record three new songs for the Greatest Hits. We've come up with six tracks we love and are now thinking we should do a new studio album instead."

"When Ashley and I get back from honeymoon we'll have a meeting with our record label and see about putting back the Greatest Hits."

Tweedy added: "Pop is on a roll right now with Lily Allen and Nelly Furtado - and we want to continue being a part of it."

Can't happen soon enough for me, though all their fans (under 10's) maybe a bit upset, but there is always Cbeebies to watch.

I must admit im a big Girls Aloud fan, but honestly i saw this coming! Cheryls just got married, and during the World Cup she seemed to have completely forgotten about the rest of the girls! I will miss them, but hey-ho life goes on!

I think they have released some good stuff. Sound of thew underground got annoying because of the amount of times that radio stations were playing but I never got bored of no good advice.
