Ok so I was just wondering, is it normal for moles to change? I've had a mole on my arm for as long as ican remember, and it's always been flat, only difference to the rest of my skin was that it was brown. but yesterday i noticed that it's became upraised, is a little bit red around it, and hurt to like press on it.
My mum's got a bit worried and booked me a doctors appointment for next Tuesday, because she's saying about how you've got to watch moles for skin cancer and everything.
So i was just wondering, is it normal for moles to change?

yeah you've done well getting a docs appointment nice and quick. has it changed size or shape as well? because they're also signs to look out for.

It hasnt really changes size. It's just became upraised and a little darker. It actually looks more like a scab, even though i've had the mole as long as i remember.
