The voting has opened for the Inside Soap Awards 2006, you can either vote by picking up the new issue of the magazine or vote at www.insidesoap.co.uk (http://www.insidesoap.co.uk)! Im torn between EastEnders and Hollyoaks on most of them! lol

Best Actor: CHRIS FOUNTAIN and STEVE MCFADDEN
Best Actress: SARAH DUNN and LACEY TURNER
Sexiest Male: CHRIS FOUNTAIN and ANDREW MOSS (Prefer the Hollyoaks nominations)
Sexiest Female: ROXANNE MCKEE and KARA TOINTON
Best Bitch: GEMMA BISSIX and JENNIFER METCALF
Best Bad Boy: WARREN BROWN and BILLY MURRAY
Best Young Actor: ELLIS HOLLINS and MEGAN JOSSA
Best Newcomer: JESSICA FOX and EMMA BARTON

More useless awards ceremonies which will doubtless be dominated by EE which appears to be Inside Soaps favourite soap. As usual multiple voting will ensure that the core teenage audience of EE fanatics will dominate whereas the older core viewers who may not spend all day surfing the net will only record one vote if they even bother. :rolleyes:

These daft awards are a complete waste of time

I didnt vote for EE for any of them! Infact all of my votes went to Hollyoaks and the Australian Soaps

Best Storyline - FORBIDDEN LOVE FOR JUSTIN AND BECCA (Hollyoaks) - again a hard one as also wanted to vote for Grace's death, Flynn's death and Steph's cancer/baby storyline
Best Family - HOYLANDS (Neighbours)
Best Drama - DOCTORS
Best Soap - HOLLYOAKS

I voted the once to have my say and hopefully change some results. most of my votes went to H&W which has been fantastic this year and deserve something. Even though it is on 5 days as week it still give quality storylines and good actors which is more than can be said about EE lately

Has anyone seen the shortlists for the Inside Soap Awards? I dont agree with half of them! lol
BEST ACTOR- Where is Chris Fountain! lol
BEST STORYLINE- Where is Graces Death?
BEST BAD BOY- Where is Warren Brown and why is Billy Murray in there he left ages ago!
BEST BITCH- Why is Tracy-Ann Oberman in there (no offence she was a great bitch but she left nearly a year ago) and Where is Gemma Bissix!!! lol
SEXIEST MALE- Chris Fountain and Andrew Moss where are they?? lol
FUNNIEST PERFORMANCE- Carley Stenson is hilarious why isnt she there!! lol
SEXIEST FEMALE- Ok i aint a dyke or anything but i think Roxanne McKee should be in here!!

Hollyoaks is the best soap around at the moment so why are the shortlists filled up with what i consider to be rubbish most of the time! lol I still love EastEnders and agree with what people have voted for that! But Hollyoaks deserves to be up for a lot more! But thats just my opinion! What do you think??

they just prooved a point that it should be renamed the show with the most following awards. Not the soap awards.

The Eastenders award show could also be a suitable title.

aww im glad some of them won im glad patsy won and that the bill did, and i also think emmerdale have been better in storyline for at least the past couple of months so should have won best soap

Gwant spent most of the year in Rio and the Beetroot Dogger was in prison

Still its hardly surprising as EE has been voted best soap for 10 years in spite of havingthe lowest viewing figures ever

Ima big EastEnders fan, but i dont think it should have been Best Soap! I think Hollyoaks should have won that!! Im so glad Lacey won Best Actress and her and Charlie won Best Couple!!

Also Alan, give us Enders fans a break, you dont enjoy watching it anymore, but alot of people like me do (oh yes, I'm not shamed to admit watching Enders! lol), so Im not blinkered or lacking in taste or judgement (think lacking in discernment was what you've said before), just a person who enjoys watching what I personally consider a pretty good soap.:)

) Its nothing personal against you or the majority of EE fans ( I like your posts btw) but if the fans are so deicated where did 7 million of them go this year when EE had the worst viewing figures ever

Well i'll admit that EastEnders has had a few good things happen this year. I liked the stuff with the Foxes and Little Mo's exit storyline was OK but other than that nothing else really stands out as been very good. :searchme: 2006 has been nothing to write home about so far..
Although Pauline's exit should be good I suppose.
