We all have been beating up Ian in the General discussion thread,, so figured we would have a thread to focus on all the wrong things Ian Beale has done to his women, and discuss why we think he is a worthless prat with women in general,, hey hes been married a bunch of times and none of them lasted ....... so this thread is dedicted to IAN BEALE,,,:rotfl:

Ok folks have fun...............

Great actor, given absolutely pathetic storylines, e.g. Free Wellard, being beaten up by Beetroot time and time again.

What a waste.

Agree with you there Richie - how on earth Adam Woodyatt has stayed so long is beyond me. If I were him I would have walked a long time ago. Hes an actor that not enough credit is given to because of awful storylines. Come on writers - give him something to get his teeth into.

The only thing I would say though, is that Ian is probably one of the only characters that hasn't had a complete character transplant (if my "oldish" memory serves me right) Hes always been an annoying little twerp. :D :D

He's a really great character! Definetly worth EE hanging onto him, as he has been in it from the beginning but i agree he does get given really rubbish storylines, i am surprised he hasn't quit! But it's still nice to have him on our screens.

Oh the joy lol! He's a good host for the specials weekends, Mike Reid was rubbish at it from what I could see.

I like Adam Woodyatt, i've seen him in quiz shows and stuff and he's always good for a laugh. Ian Beale can be a bit of an idiot at times, but I think Adam plays it well. There's also other sides to his characters, he's not a pain all the time. He's a great father, and you do see sparkle now and then.

At the moment I am not too FOND of Ian's character...I am sure Adam is a fine actor, but hes done nothing but EE.. so how can any one determine his acting skills if he has not been in any thing else,,

BTW for the person who said for us NOT to slag Ian off, sorry luv,:searchme: but this thread was started by me cos we were needing a place to blow off hot steam about IAN Beale's rubbish character and the way he treats his women,,and his selfishness etc

What a waste.

You forgot about his head being flushed down the loo at least twice, O.K this was funny first time around but then it became boring. Again we have "Repetition" as are most of his storylines.

I love Adam Woodyatt and think he is a great bloke, not to mention a great actor who is being held back by lack of decent storylines.
As for Ian's women it's either just a case of being unlucky and blinded by beauty and love, or, "attitude" and the way he has treated them.
Jane however is different, o.k she cheated on him with Grant but at the end of the day she stayed with Ian, maybe because she does actually love him or it could just be a case of "security"
I think now we have Ben in the soap things could be changing between Ian/Phil they seem to be putting past differences behind them and moving on together (Hopefully)Recently we saw a very commical scene between the two at the charity bash Ian threw with the Lion costume:rotfl:

just a thought...maybe someone could change the title to discuss characters here or something and then discuss characters we hate other than ian.

like deano,naomi,juley,ruby,sonia

this way no one will waste threads and that and go off topic on discussions because I admit I have done it a few times so maybe we could use this one as an official 'we hate thread'?

I hate Ian Beale but Adam is a great actor.. I think the reason Ian is hated so much is because he is smarmy (sp?).. When he gets a woman he expect her to back him up no matter what and treats them like dirt.. When he is have a good time (on the up) he rubs it into everyone's faces..

Yeah Em, he is the only one who didn't get a personality transplant.. he stuck to been a whiny git.

Yeah Em, he is the only one who didn't get a personality transplant.. he stuck to been a whiny git. I thought so, which in a way is great (continuity in EE for a change, which hasn't been happening very often of late) but because hes such a good actor, its a shame that he hasn't had more to get his teeth into of late

Hello, now do you get what I meant when I said you give forth right opinions?!

I really cant stand Beale the squeal. He is a very frustrating character to watch (no disrepect to the actor). I wish the writers would give him a break..... permanently :D

But being one of the few remaining long serving characters left, they will keep him. :thumbsdow

ok ok I get you...when i wrote that I was in a 'forth right'mood:lol: but it is ian beale and look how loverly jane treats him and he goes and pretends dawn is his wife...I know he wanted to sucseed but those wcct blokes are a little weird...so demanding and the way they act are we sure they are not masonic masons?
