One of my most favourite films ever, withought a doubt Lonely goatherd has to be the best song in it, me and Lea are Sound of music pals but we call ourselves SOM pals dont we hun.

I love it to Leawea why is it cheesy? I only saw it for the first in December never interested me before till they had the 40th birthday hype for it on shows like This morning and Paul O Grady

Lea you need to get it on dvd so you cant lose it or write on the pares and take the tab out

This film is a pure classic - I love all aspects of it. Dame Julie is a fantastic singer and actress. I don't think there are many of us that don't know at least one song from this fantastic musical. (can you tell i like it?? :D :D )

I bought it on DVD last year.... it ran away :( (well it's missing)
I've done that tab thing on video and the recorder chewed it up :lol: i'm just not meant to have the movie :p But still watch it all the time.... I don't know all the words 8-) :p

doesn't the sound of music make you want to just run up a hill and sing "The hills are alive with the sound of music da ra ra a" I love that film. I grew up watching the musicals on bbc2 every saturday afternoon and I never get tired of watching them. I love it when its christmas and bank holidays when you get this on the telly and the wizard of Oz

i have all the songs from sound of music on my ipod my friends take the mick becasue i keep them on there. they cheer me up. theyre good to sing to annoy people too espeacially if you know all the words and they dont!

i love that film so much i first saw it when my parents bought it on vid i was about 10 and its just one of those films that will never die in your mind, no matter how old it is its such a well worth film if only all films were made like that now. my fave films are TSOM (obviously) annie grease ghost

There the films you need in your DVD / Video collection for that rainy day when you have like a movie marathon. Christmas isnt complete without the sound of music.

My favourite song from it is the hello goodbye auf wiedersehen farewell........its great.

Maria and So long farewell are both fab songs but there is just something about Lonely Goatherd that makes it fab

i like maria and i cant remember the name its the song she sings when she leaves the abbey and she running swinging her guitar about then shes still singing it on the bus

I love Sound of Music! I got the dvd version for christmas and it has a sing along bit in it which is great fun (although too be honest i knew most of the words before anyway)
